#1) YES, there are free code remaining. (At least according to Adobe last week).

#2) What they don't tell you in ANY of the blurbs, is that you must also have 50% lifetime acceptance rate to qualify.  49% and it doesn't matter if you got 1000 images accepted this year...

#3) They send out the codes in batches. I think once a month (though I am not positive on the frequency).  if you really do qualify, it will come...

For #2, when I asked them, I was told that I was not initially over the 50% threshold (huh? never saw that in any blurb about this promotion!), but that my acceptances this year had pushed me over the top, and yes, my code would be coming "soon."  It came about 3 weeks later (hence my suspicion of once per month).

In my case, I had initially uploaded a lot of images last year, not realizing that Adobe did not accept editorial content.  Thus, I started off at a very low acceptance rate.  In the last year, I realized the issue and stopped sending them editorial, and thus my acceptance rate moved upward.  Fortunately, it moved above the critical (and totally unannounced!) 50% acceptance rate threshold in time.

Huh? From the OP in this thread:
"To qualify you need to one of the first 20,000 contributors to have 300 files approved or have $500 in earnings since January 1, 2018 with a 50% or higher approval ratio to receive a CCP member. "

(NB, "50%" isn't a ratio, "1 in 2" is. Just sayin'.)

Not sure where you saw that, but the 50% acceptance was not mentioned in ANY promo blurb that I read. And that includes the general news feed I read just today (Sunday, Sept 16) on this subject.  I read it quite carefully to see if I had missed it, and nope, they talked about the "$300 revenue or 300 media accepted" but NEVER mentioned the "50% acceptance" requirement...

Got this promotion giveaway offer some 1-2 weeks ago, finally managed to upload enough files with #300 approved yesterday. Hope we're still early enough. What's next? Does Adobe detect the 300 hurdle or does one have to apply in some way?

Well, at the contrary, it's cleary written just at the top of this thread itself.
To qualify you need to one of the first 20,000 contributors to have 300 files approved or have $500 in earnings since January 1, 2018 with a 50% or higher approval ratio to receive a CCP member.
And it's also clearly written on the FAQ!
An faq has been created to answer most questions. If you have any other questions please let me know.
https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/creative-cloud-giveaway-FAQ.html

Well, maybe you should do a double check :-D and read official source instead of various third parties announcements :-)

Hi Matt,

Just out of curiosity, are there any free codes left? I just passed the 300 video uploads mark, but also passed the $500,- mark three weeks ago.

Sjoerd

Wondering the same thing! We earned the photo code back in the first round but just qualified for the whole package and are hoping we did so in time as it's such a nice bonus.

Yes, there are still codes available.

I got a code. I read the FAQs and thought it would just start at the end of my current one year photo plan. I had over a year to redeem it. It just started straight away. I have tried contacting customer services to see if they give me a new code or change the expiry date but they don't seem to care. I don't think they even understand about this offer. They just kept sending me irrelevant links.  They have just closed my case and are ignoring me now. Very disappointed. I basically now get 4 months free instead of the 12.

Sounds like a touting for images! people are probably fed up and not uploading enough and now they are going to get sucked in by a freebie!  Oh well thats one way of doing it, lot of people will probably upload like mad all red-eyed at starry eyed!

Like I said, it's in the OP on  this thread, which is the only place I've seen the offer mentioned (I don't submit to Ft/Adobe).

'...like 'straight away' after you redeemed it?

That's a very negative outlook on it! If it was purely on uploads, but you can have uploaded nothing for years as long as you make the earnings criteria. Seems 50% as a way to get new uploads and 50% to just reward people for doing well on Adobe (with the side effect of people getting to try CC who maybe haven't used it before, so they might start subscribing after, brand loyalty, etc etc)... which is a hell of a lot more than most agencies do! Sure they may get 'sucked in' by a freebie, but it's not like people are having to submit 500 items to a selection of free items that make you no money... you're submitting 500 items that should make you a decent amount of money, on top of a free subscription.

Yes. Don't get your point. As I said I thought it would continue afterwards not in parallel.

I just find it a bit strange that you wouldn't think it would start straight away when you redeem it. Otherwise, why would they give you a year to do so?

Hi Matt - I was pretty excited about this because I had over $935 in earnings between Jan. and July of this year alone (as of this month its well over $1,000.)  I've been watching my mailbox patiently, but it's been more than 8 weeks since the initial announcement and I have still not received the email. So now I'm wondering if I misunderstood the terms of the benefit.

Because you might already have a subscription, so if you'd happened to renew in the last month, it wouldn't be that great a deal.

Well I already have a subscription and I redeemed the offer straight away, which pauses my billing for 12 months. I knew that would happen as I read the FAQ's... I think I remember it saying that won't work if you're on an annual-paid subscription or if you have a subscription that differs from what you've won.

Fairly sure the answer is "no" but....

I activated my LR/PS free code about 3 weeks ago before realising i'd also qualified for the full CC package.

Is there any way to transfer this 3 week old code to another adobe CC account (a relatives)?

I'm pretty sure that once redeemed, you cannot transfer a CC code. Contact customer service through Adobe.com however as they will have a more definitive answer for you.

Yes, there are still codes available.

-Mat

So I can pass on my code (not redeemed) to someone else?

Contact us through the contributor portal and we'll take a look. If you have that much in earnings and still haven't received a code it would be for one of 3 reasons...the email was overlooked by you or went to spam (sender is CompEXT), you haven't had at least one image approved this year or your approval ratio is below 50%.

Mat, now I am confused. I met the sales criteria, had an approval rate over 50% and had more than one image approved this year as of the date of the first announcement of this program and I have not yet received a code as well. I contacted support and understood that they have not yet sent out all the codes. Are you saying they have(sent out all the codes for people meeting the criteria from "day 1")?....should I contact support again?

Thanks

You know, it is not really that hard to read the Abobe official docs on this promotion.  And they say, very explicitly that the offer is not transferrable or salable...

The FAQ says:
"In some cases, you may want to consider waiting until your existing membership expires or gifting your plan to a friend or family member. "

So it IS possible to gift a code to someone.

$500, unless you live in a euro country then it's 500. (which is $584)

Just as an FYI. I submitted my request explaining the situation. Got a response a few hours later agreeing that I qualified and a resend of the code! Should be good to go! Thanks!

A question for Mat or anyone that knows...

I received the code, thanks.

But I am still using LR 5.7.1 and PS Elements 12, because I don't like subscriptions and the cloud...
I like to buy a perpetual licence and use it as long as possible.

Should I decide to try it just because it's free, can I install it alongside the current perpetual versions? (in Windows 7 Pro 64 bit)
