So I upload a bunch of photos via ftp to Fotolio and my exif data does not appear?

Please don't tell me I have to re-input it all? Does anyone know if I can retrieve it now they are uploaded ?

I emailed support but they haven't answered yet.

EXIF data contains the camera settings (shutter speed, f/stop, ISO, etc).

IPTC data contains the info that you enter for the photo (e.g., title, description, keywords, etc).

Don't you mean IPTC data?

If so, then yes, FT does read IPTC data. I have never had a problem with them reading in data.

What program are you using to enter your IPTC data?

Yes, I mean IPCT - title, description, keywords etc. (sorry, trying to sneak in posts while we pack up our whole marketing/design department to move by weeks end.)

I entered it in PS CS2, but some of it was from CS and some from PS 8 now that I think about it. Arrgg.

It does. I edit mine with Exifer and sometimes add keywords in Irfanview (because it allows me to include then in any position) and I only have problems with IS (who's been informed twice of the problem, but never bothered trying to solve it) and Gimmestock (who cares?).
