Do I earn more if they pay me more for the same work?

No! I earned far more when Gold but now as Emerald since two years back I am down approx 30%. Its business and as an emerald you hit the top royalty mark which is either a cut off for you or a worse search placement.

Of course as some here will say there are exeptions but on the whole myself and about another 10 emerlads I personally know this is our experience. Hard work doesnt always pay. :)

FT does this neat little trick where they bury your work when you get emerald so your sales drop and overall earnings go down.  Great way of rewarding success - NOT.

Since turning emerald, earnings have continued to rise with no sign of any downturn. Can't complain, well..... of course it would be nice to earn even more but hey, at least it's continuing in an upward direction!

Compare the comparable
If you sell the same photos, the same number of photos, the same licences you will not earn less if you are emerald.

As I know mathematic is not an opinion

As I said there are exceptions and "HalfFull" is one of them but on the whole youre right of course . It was first spotted way back many years back by a contributor named Lisa who was one of the first ones to turn Emerald if I remember.

As somebody else said in another thread this was to be expected by the old Oleg era but not from Adobe. Thought they sort of rised above this. :)

Emerald status is a less than a month away. I'm looking forward to setting my own prices for some of my images and see how they perform.

Credits double in cost for buyer after emerald . Do buyers see price and shop for lower prices. That could account for drop in sales when making new level? Congradulations on making new level 25,000 sales.

Let us know if you see a drop or rise in earnings.  What was true back when FT ran the show may be different with Adobe.  Hopefully so.  I turned emerald a couple years ago and had the rumored drop in income even tho I didn't think it would happen to me,  but past few months I am seeing income from FT/Adobe improving, so maybe it's changed, like gyllens said.

Not sure there will be any difference. I have spoken to so many Emeralds and apart from a few the overwhelming majority is way down. Some are trying their luck in the macro agency taking their portfolio with them. Drastic move but who knows?

When I was exclusive to istock photo I put most of my best selling photo the the exclusive ++ and the sell was very good for this photo too. like 25$ each. I think if you have original photo the sell will be there.

I'm still a few weeks away, but I'll keep you guys updated. I probably won't know the results until months later. If there is a dip compared to current earnings, it's going to be pretty obvious. I hope it's not true.

The first month that I became emerald I actually experienced a bump in profits, even the second after the change.

Then it dipped below my gold-level profits for 2 months and rebounded to the same profits I earned when I was gold.
