I started uploading on FOTOLIA recently I have a huge collection of vectors I have created in the past few years and had uploaded 150+ images in a month and everything was going pretty smooth suddenly today the account status shows blocked and there is no one to explain as to what went wrong and why is the account closed.

Sounds like you violated the Terms of Agreement. Did you use someone else's work for reference on your vectors? Without seeing your submissions, we can't help you much.

I have uploaded each and every image that I created. Have been creating vectors from past 3 years and I learned about selling them through one of my friend. I wish I could show my profile however the account is blocked and I have been trying to reach FOTOLIA on the no. provide on site from past 1 hour but no one's in the office to answer the call :(

For some reason, just or not. FOT did not want to resell your pictures.
I suggest you say it is their loss, and forget them.
There is no microstock agency that is not worth being forgotten.

Today's a holiday in the US.  Maybe you will have better luck reaching them tomorrow.  I hope.  Good luck.  Very scary situation to be in...

Usually they do this when someone fills in a copyright infringement complaint on one of your file.

When this happens they block your account instantly until you contact them and prove to them that you have submitted your own work and that the claim cannot be backed up.

If you took reference on someone else's work and copied even small but identifiable part of someone else's work you can be in trouble. If not, send them the proof they require and your account should be back up on the same day

Ooooookay another one.

Unfortunately for you a simple Google image search for "unicornvivant fotolia" still brings up your images, until Google clears its cache.
Including this one:
http://t1.ftcdn.net/jpg/00/46/00/58/400_F_46005863_2UFMiDIln97CDDlFEXAg2WGr6PkwgTfY.jpg

Was image number 46005863 on fotolia so will also come up on a search for "46005863 fotolia"

Actually by IStock exclusive procurator http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-illustration-4427810-digital-face.php  and many more

I suggest everyone do the same search before the examples disappear. I notice you have also been deleted from bigstock, I would think about behaving before you get your portfolio taken down from the other sites too.

One day someone will come on here with a similar complaint and it will turn out they have actually been mistreated, hasn't happened yet though.

Don't think so, I think Pazhyna/ Pagina is legit and that is just two alternative spellings of a non English name. Someone should email/ sitemail her and dreamstime too.

unicornvivant, this will be a good time to defend yourself here, if you have a defense or the guts (whichever is available to you).

PS Impressive work Microbius (a heart from me)!

thief!

how dare you come here and start a thread about this, like you have any rights?

it's unbelievable how some people are so comfortable being a piece of crap..

Great job Microbius.. I knew it was something like this.. as soon as he started the thread I was going to label him "copyright infringer", but then I thought "never mind".. Great that you didn't say "never mind" :)

this guy should be imprisoned right now.. stealing images is no different than selling any other goods.. How can we find his address and send him where he belongs.. "behind bars"

If he is not stopped, the way he is comfortable with this, he will just continue to steal..

I have to sympathize with unicornvivant. Sounds like he/she is being unfairly punished.

I'm in a similar situation. I walked into a bank vault the other day and took some bags of money. Now the police are after me and I have no idea why! It seems completely unfair. I mean, it's my money afterall. I swear I earned every penny myself. And they won't even tell me why they're harassing me about this.

;)

Hell the images are not even just similar, they are outright downloaded copies. How stupid can you be??

Mate I know how it feels when your hard work is stolen I felt the same way when I saw my images on several sites duplicated and and sold by others you can find several of my created vectors still be upload on some free sites and people are downloading and using them as and when they want. What would you call them?????

You can change date of creation of any image. Essential is date when image was uploaded.

There is no simple way of saying this but stealing someone else's work is not what I prefer to do. I can just provide my side of explanations I cant force you to think that I am correct and someone else is wrong
