I have to say that I love their reviewing.  They take just about everything I throw at them and they are no 1 for earnings.

In that case you must be good!  they are known to be very selective in their editing.

IStock don't think so. I rarely put a batch through to IS without some rejections whereas fot and dt take just about everything. SS are sometimes unpredictable. I'm also very selective in what I put through so that's why I don't get many refusals.

World Class?  Gimme a break.  Review times have gone up because no one is uploading after their insulting / degrading drop in commissions.

It's not a world class agency, it's a third-world agency because in the end, the only ones who'll be able to afford uploading there are people from third-world countries who still find some benefits through foreign exchange rates.

The quality of the images will drop because they will start accepting whatever they can get and eventually, Fotolia will plotz.

Youre being a bit naive here, pardon my expression, cut in payments, etc, is something we are going to have to get used to, all agencies will eventually do the same. So, are we going to scream and shout, leaver or stay? every time it happens?
Not much point for you then is it?

best.

I think that I must be different to most people.  SS, IS and DT have virtually the same earnings for me this month but Fot has 30$ more.  For a year now Fotolia has been my highest earner and even Dt usually beats IS and SS thanks to the really good placing in the searches that I seem to get there. With SS and Dt I sell a bit of everything but with IS and Fot it's the same photos that sell over and over.

Really? Well, it's tanked for me. It's the worst month since January 2009, less than half the usual earnings. Perhaps you are the winner in a search shake-up lottery.

Oops that was supposed to read 30% more not 30$
January has tanked for me also as it does on all sites every year.

I can say that I am not very good, still, I love their review, they are very correct. The sales are great, too.

Fotolia for me is my lowest earner (I do stock Illustration).

Yes they approve everything I throw at them, but the payout is less than dreamstime, and 1/6 of Shutterstock. Canstockphoto is beating their ass in my case.

World Class... hmmm that I am not sure Smiley

well, some days it seemed like the PR assistants of FT have a lot too much sparetime and spend it by posting here.
But...at the end it is a good idea...maybe he/she read what was written in this thread :-) Okay, just a joke....it's FT, you have to be unable to read and to write if you want a job in the PR.
