How is that image possibly allowed?  It's in the INFINITE collection FFS!  Shouldn't it be checked? Am I missing something obvious?

Are you surprised? I'm not, their reviewing process is a joke.
Some time ago somebody posted here a snapshot of a kid with a date stamp and "kidnap" as a keyword. The photo was accepted by FT.
At the same time images with many downloads at SS and IS "do not reach their desired level of esthetic quality".

There are two possibilities:
- their reviewing process is partially automated
- if they sc#%* their reviewers the same way they sc#%* contributors, maybe they also get sc#%*ed by some of them Smiley

The probability that something like this happens at IS is minimal, at FT nothing will surprise me.

Yep. FT is my toughest reviewer....then i look at the snapshots in their infinity collection and wonder why I bother going outside of IS and SS.

Maybe Infinity contains editorial (?) I saw an image where the name of a newspaper was clearly visible in a finance shot

The author is 'moodboard' who, as well as having 15K images on FT, are a UK-based stock agency;

Presumably they must have done a deal with FT and possibly did not have their images go through the inspection process.

Many of the Infinity collection images that I've seen are old and dated. I've even seen one with a 1990's laptop in the shot. I reckon they are often  cast-offs from old RM and RF collections and receive little or no scrutiny from the 'rejectors'. The price level must be hugely off-putting to anyone searching for an image at microstock prices. There are usually two or more on every search page and I regard them as visual dilution of genuine microstockers' images. Cannot imagine that any are sold at those prices when a buyers is looking for micro.

maybe the reviewers are British and they - rightly - don't even remotely consider that thing as a proper beer

ok, being German you certainly have the right to comment on beers Smiley

there are a lot of good English beers: bitters, porters, stouts...
and a lot of good German beers too... dunkel, weiss (I'm not so fond of lager/pilsner)
althought my preferred ones are Belgian trappists
my comment was against American beers - although I must admit they aren't as bad as those from my home country (Italy).

to the OP: sorry for hijacking the thread, now I'll stop Smiley

Neither do the Dutch or the Germans. Their "beer" is like making love in a canoe, fckin close to water. Every beer connoisseur knows that Belgian Beer is the best.  Tongue
