Hi all,

I asked this question the other day in one of the FT threads but to no avail, so I'll try again in this separate thread.

I was checking the Adobe Stock site to see how searchable the photos from my FT portfolio are there, and I found out that the most essential keywords representing the geographic locations are simply missing from most of my photos when searched through Adobe.

The point is that I have only travel photos in my port with a lot of remote locations, specific places, names of volcanoes, lakes etc - they are properly keyworded and easily searchable on FT but completely missing on Adobe.

Anyone noticed having similar issues?

Many thanks!

I noticed the same issue with keywords related to wildlife taxonomy.  All my essential keywords (common name and scientific classification) which specifically identify a species have been eliminated.  So, for example, a Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis) has "Northern Cardinal" and "Cardinalis cardinalis" eliminated.

Same thing for place names, such as the proper names of bridges.

Many of these are the most important keywords (first ones listed) on FT.

Same here. Just checked some of my images and scientific names are missing. And there are also keywords in there, that didn't come from me.

This appears still to be the case - I have many images with all sorts of important keywords that get shown in the contributor interface but are "disappeared" from the buyer side. It appears (I'm not certain) that if the phrase is in the title, it will show up in a search drawing from that.

Place names, medical conditions, plant or animal names, and so on are gone, and I have an image which acquired the keyword "duck pond" - according to the buyer interface of Adobe Stock - but which isn't there if you look at the contributor interface. Fotolia shows the keywords as entered by me.

Was there ever any official answer as to whether this was a feature or a bug? And if it's a "feature" what guidelines should contributors follow so images can be found?
