Is Adobe Killing Fotolia

(1/5) > >>

M.Studio:
Hi recently I've tried to sync mine with adobe but I think I screwed up everything and fotolia support asked me to contact Adobe to fix the problem and I contacted them but no response whatsoever.

I would like to know anyone faced the same problem migrating to Adobe Stock,

and one more thing I am not complaining but I don't understand why Adobe is pushing Fotolia to an end, with a super annoying reCaptcha and with almost no sales at all while other agencies are working fine, is there any difference between Adobe Stock and Fotolia

Thanks

I had no problem syncing my FT portfolio with AS. And I wouldn't call it a "migration," but rather a "symbiotic relationship" since both are still functioning well.

Images I upload to FT and process there show up on AS as soon as they're accepted on FT.

Changes in titles or keywords that I make on AS immediately show up on FT.

Sales made through one show up on the other, and vice versa.

My credits and earnings show up identically on both.

Maybe there's something going on that I don't know about, but I see nothing different with the two sites than over the last months or year.

I understand that your account has problems, but once those are sorted out I think you'll see that Fotolia is still fully functional - I upload via Adobe Stock and check all my stats via Fotolia (because it has more to offer at the moment on the contributor side of things).

You can't always tell, but as many of the royalty amounts are different via the different sites, I know I'm still getting sales via Fotolia as well as via Adobe Stock. You'll see Adobe/Fotolia is the number two site on the list on the right - and that's true for me and at similar ratios. I only see the captcha on my mobile device.

Perhaps Mat Hayward can help you get your account migration problems sorted out - he has an account here and you could send him a message.

I for one wish I could just have stayed with Ft since I had ten times more sales then before this merger with Adobe. I recon I know why. Two week back I suggested to an AD at an ad-agency to look for four of my shots at Adobe and he said " adobe???? why? its a programming company"!
I dont think its sunk in that they are also dabbling in stock?

Sounds like that art director isn't keeping up with Adobe products. Anybody who uses the creative suite should know that images are integrated in from the apps.
