funny, i've gone for about 9 weeks without a sale

ok, a stretch, but it was almost 4 weeks between sales for me... i wish their upload process was as easy as LO or StockXpert because i'd upload more there to try to improve my sales.

Just 150 images, quite small I know and not of great quality as yours, but usually with regular sales in the last two month

Ever since V2 I cannot predict.  I have more days without sales than those with. Then last week I had several days in a row with several sales each day.  It seemed that something was fixed that had been broken and then it stopped again.

My guess is at FT one has to have at least a thousand pics or more to make a $100 a month.

Sales at Fotolia are so unpredictable I think but overall the $/image of portfolio compared to other sites like IS is very low. Sites like StockXpert,CT,123RF will catch up soon I think.
I calculate that I will need 1500 images to make $ 100 a month...
I have 560 at the moment..... still a long way to go

I have sales there most days and a lot more EL's than on some sites.  I sell more with StockXpert and DT but haven't had an EL on those sites.

I had a bit of a slowdown in momentum the last 3 weeks of november, but managed to squeak through with a 4  photo difference from october.

On the other hand, I had two ELs which was great.

(total portfolio of 590, quite a few of which I'm ashamed about...  Embarrassed )

My experience with Fotolia is that you can make $100 a month there with less than 1000 images.  I still don't have that many images there and have been able to get a few $100 monthly payouts there.  I have a diverse portfolio which seems to be the key!

I maybe wrong but I think that FT is doing better for people who started recently (after V2)...

For me V2 is just starting to get to the V1 levels in sales since the quirks are being corrected.

That's not my experience - downloads have been good there lately (I started there in September 2005). The only complaint I have is fewer extended licenses which has reduced the $$ total a bit compared to other sites.

There has been a lot of Christmas stuff selling lately, so for those without any seasonal images perhaps there's a slow patch?

FT used to perform much better for me.  It's been quite slow these past two weeks.  No ELs in months.  Sad

Adelaide
