I notice that i can't set the price higher and maximum for me is 40 credits. is it because i am under 100 downloads?

yes, you should

I always set FT prices as high as possible, as soon as I am allowed - both EL and normal price - and never noticed a decrease in sales.

This makes me wonder why microstock prices - at all agengies - are so low: buyers need pictures and they will buy them even at twice the price.
