Sounds great!

I don't know if it's a general problem, but I tried to select one image to be my profile cover, which worked, but when I picked a different one as I didn't like how the first choice crop looked, I still have the original choice showing (tried another browser in case there was something messed up with the cache, but it showed my first choice as well).

Can anyone else change the profile picture and get it to show? It appears to take a while to update. I now see pick #2 (which I have changed as it still doesn't look good), but I expect to see pick #3

Suggestions that would make this feature much easier for contributors to use include: searching portfolio by keyword; allowing shift-click or select all to easily add groups of images; ability to pick the image that represents a collection; moving and scaling image to fit in the portfolio window (like Facebook does with a cover photo); seeing a count of images in a collection; seeing which collections an image is in when you view it in the contributor side of things

" You can create as many collections as you like, but only two will be displayed on your public contributor page"

So what chance the other have to be seen by buyers?

By the way is it worth to move your account to the Adobe Stock site? I'm regularly contributing to Fotolia since 2006 and since it works really well, i've never tried the Adobe Stock site. Fotolia's contributor page is basically the only one which always works flawlessly without anomalies, didn't have stupid design changes over the year, provides quite good information and statistics with reasonable site structure. The only problem is that thumbnails are ridiculously small. Otherwise i wish other contributor site would be as good as Fotolia's.
Don't know whats up with Adobe stock.

If i validate my user account there, can i still continue using the Fotolia site if i happen to prefer that?

Desintegrator, It's quite simple to connect Fotolia and AdobeStock accounts and you can still continue uploading to Fotolia. You will just upload to one site and your work will show up on both. The Fotolia site functions well and I too prefer using it.

Thanks for the feedback and great suggestions Joanne, I'm sharing your comments with the team. There is a delay when updating the photo as you've noted. This is expected behavior right now but again, your comments are appreciated.

Cool feature.

Does featuring a maximum two collections mean that other collections can't be found by customers?

May I add another suggestion: the possibility of adding a description for each collection would be nice.

Does someone know how to select the image for a collection cover ?

Please add the ability to change video thumbnails.  The current system often misses the best spots.

Yes, they are one in the same, not different. I prefer to upload through Adobe and edit later, look at stats on FT. Adobe has a much better interface for uploading, but as far as I can see, no way to alter or edit after upload and acceptance. FT allows that, and has better earnings reporting. But back at the question, they are synced and identical, one shows the gallery to buyers, same as the other.

When I registered to Fotolia 11 years ago I happened to come across a link to en.fotolia.com, so i'm registered on the UK site, and get paid in GBP. Is adobestock.com handling separate currencies just like Fotolia?

Here is my page with one collection done!  https://stock.adobe.com/contributor/65923/john-neff?load_type=author&prev_url=detail

Wow, Jeff, your page looks great!

Thanks for sharing this. It's inspiring and helpful to see what can happen there now.

Thanks, Mat, for letting us know about this fine new feature.

Over the last hour, I selected an image for my custom header. That hasn't shown up yet, but it will soon, I'm sure. It's late now, and I don't mind waiting until tomorrow to see how that choice turned out.

But here's an unexpected problem I encountered

I perused my 2,000+ portfolio and selected 150 landscape images for my first collection. When I got to the end of that process, I gave the collection a title and clicked the button to create the collection. Up came an error message to the effect that the collection could not be created. No explanation why not. Now that was frustrating, especially since my selection of images was not saved along the way.

I will attempt this again tomorrow evening with a smaller selection of images to see if I can figure out what my error was.

However, if you, Mat, or anybody else has an idea about why my first attempt didn't work, I'd be grateful for a tip or two.

Thanks again!

It would be helpful for the client to have access to all of our collections and not be limited to just two - you could make a link button " see other collections "

This is what I ended up doing:

1.Select the cover picture for the collection ( The cover picture is the first picture you start your selection )
 2.Click add to collection
 3.Name your Collection
4.Keep adding to that collection in small numbers just to avoid the frustration of any errors (at least in this early stage of development )

Thank you, Mat, for the information. It's nice to have these two new features.
However... the profile image: due to the severe crop just faraway landscape images look good in this. I know people like to look at landscapes and nature, but this is not what my work is about. If I choose a random landscape (which I shoot seldom) I'm doing more harm than good to my port, I think.
Would it be possible for the user to upload a custom header, or can you make the crop adjustable?

Getting along with the collections ok, but would like two features: 1) changing the title image 2) transferring the collections/lightboxes from Fotolia.

Can you explain me in what way these new features will attract more customers to buy our photos?

Nice idea but time is an issue. Please can we have searching portfolio by keyword and allowing shift-click or select all to easily add groups of images?

Thank you, Vladimir! I think you've pointed me in the right direction.

I'll give your approach a try tonight and will report back as to how it goes.

Much appreciated.

Hey matt,

Nice upgrades.

I like the 2 featured collections, however could I suggest they have a collection name overlaid onto it? e.g. the ones shown on this page: https://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/new-for-adobe-stock-contributors-customized-portfolios/?segment=adobe-stock - could have a "Health" and "Adventure" title on the collection, rather than just an image. And as has been mentioned, it's impossible to make a collection properly without the ability to search for a keyword through the entire portfolio, and then select all. No one has time to click through thousands of images.

Also, on another topic altogether, all of my sales in Adobe Stock are reported as "invalid date". All of them. Any idea why?

Cheers Matt, keep the up improvements!

Hi, I have no photo in my portfolio, can I use a video image instead? How?

How can I choose the collection cover?

Thanks a lot!

@JJNEFF, your portfolio page looks great! Really nice job and your galleries are very impressive as well. I would love to see some more examples of what you all have done so far, please share some links!

I'll get back to you with answers to some of the other questions posted here.

I religiously put my images in collections, so I have more than 20 collections/galleries.
Question 1. How did AS decide which one to port over from FT?

I was looking for a specific image in a gallery to select it as custom header image but I couldn't find it.  So I noticed that AS collections don't contain all the images from the same FT collection, ex. 305 in FT vs 198 in AS.
It would be very hard work to compare the two and add the missing image in back.

Question 2. Will AS continue to port over the missing images in each gallery (305 - 198 = 107) or should we create duplicate galleries with the same images + the missing ones?

The blog article says that I can create as many collections as I want.
Question 3. How do I delete one of the 20 collections to make place for a new one?

I don't understand what is new in this feature. All AS had to do is copy over the collections from FT and then add some new features like changing the cover photo of a gallery.

How are these custom galleries if we can't change anything on what AS decided it would be good for us?

Hi All,

Take a look at the following blog post announcing the two latest features offering customization to your Adobe Stock portfolios!

https://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/new-for-adobe-stock-contributors-customized-portfolios/?segment=adobe-stock

-Mat Hayward

Great addition but one problem. When I'm in "my portfolio" and want to select certain videos to place in a collection I can't search for those videos.
Unless I'm missing something.
