At Fotolia you are allowed to set you own price for an Extended RF License within a range of 10-50 credits (of which you earn 35% as a contributer with a bronze rating).  What criteria do you use to set the price?  Obviously you want to earn the maximum revenue, but you still need to be competitive with other similar images (which varies widely).

When I first started uploading to Fotolia I did not pay too much attention and at the time I left the price of the extended license on the default of 10 credits.  Lately someone is buying quite a number of my photos at this ridiculously low price (good for him, bad for me).  Now I am increasing the price on all my photos still set at 10 credits, but I am hesitant to increase it to the maximum of 50.  Obviously the more popular images should be set higher and the less popular ones lower.  What do you do?  Also, is there a way to change the price on all your photos at the same time, or do you need to go to each individual photo?  Doing this for all 450 photos in my portfolio is quite time consuming.

I have the price set at the max for all my images.  I believe if you send fotolia a note they will change all your images for you.  Someone else might be able to chime in about that though.

Mine are also at US$20 - my allowed maximum - and I have sold several images at that price.  I would raise it a bit if I could, especially those that sell well..

I have raised everything to $50, but did not get a single sale from that, in the meantime I got about 7 from SS and 1 from IS.

I have raised to $50.  Never had one before or after price rise.

A email to admin will get them all changed.

I also set my extended licenses to maximum because I think if somebody really needs an extended license they don't mind paying $20 instead of $10.

I had 3 Xlicence sales at $10

and 2 sales at $40

Once you reach 100 Dls you get 35% of non exclusive sales and can raise your Xlicence price to $50

I have a table on my guide

I was quite looking forward to reaching 500 DLs now I realize the next landmark is 1000 :'(

I have just reached the 100 dld and I could increase my EL prices.  After all I have read here I don't think it's wise to increase them to the maximum, except maybe for some very special ones.

I haven't had any EL this month so far.  I think I have been spoiled in the previous months.  :)

Adelaide
