Interesting stats here are mine:

BME ;D overall getting closer to the $300 mark

1. SS BME + 37% (due to 2 EL otherwise not so good...)
2.FT BME +29%
2.IS BME +36%
3.DT BME +71%
4.123RF BME  +40%
5.StockXpert -11%

These stats are getting more and more complicated to do... I guess it is a good sign. ;D

BME by 13%. Second BME in a row.
BMEs at SX, and SS. Jan besides BME overall had BMEs at BigStock, FT, and IS. Feb would have been a BME at 123 if not for ELs in one month last year. FT only real down month in Feb.

Overall, 2008 rocks.

And today pretty good for a Saturday

I have always rejected the idea of exclusivity, but seriously began to think about it.

[/quote]

We seem to be hearing this more and more often. It's ironic that the other sites seem to be pushing so many of us to this conclusion, plus of course IS seems to have performed very well so far this year.

I wonder how they've done it? It's almost as if raising prices brought in more customers :)

We will decide at the end of this month. We have RF on Alamy, and it takes 6 months for them to disappear from their servers. We will then re-upload the best of the unsold ones as RM.

When Yuri stated in SS forums that subs would need to $1 per DL if SS wants to get back on top, I must admit I laughed, but he's right. Somehow I don't see it happening.

Still, with 7 months to wait before we can go exclusive, there's plenty of time to watch what happens.

We might even make Diamond by then. :D

Overall it was my BME, just edging out November 07 by 1% or so.

Not BME in downloads however.  The higher $ are a result of istock raising prices and me raising my prices on Fotolia.
Here's the breakdown:

IS 35%
Fot 20%
SS 18%
DT 11%
StockXpert 7%
BigStock 6%
123 3%
Crest 1%
CanStockPhoto 0%

I am really hoping for a significant raise at Shutterstock to bring them back up to 20% or better of my earnings.  Sales there are very good, but with the other sites raising prices they have dropped in my earnings.  Since I use their monthly payments to pay my taxes I would love to get a raise... :)

FT 27%
SS 23%
IS 13%
DT 12%
StockXpert 11%
BigStock 6%
123rf 4%
Other sites less than 2% each with crestock and canstock being the only ones with less than 1%

Shutterstock   43%
Dreamstime  54%
123 Royalty free  3%

But I'm still pretty new, it's my first month with sales.

Here are mine.

IS - 56%    (344 images)  BME
FT - 16%    (355 images)  BME
SS - 14%   (419 images)
DT - 14%   (356 images)  BME

I'm still pondering exclusivity at IS but I just can't get past some of the decisions they make.  Every time I inch closer to it they do something stupid. (case in point, I am not happy about their current month-long sale)  A lot may depend on how much of a raise SS comes up with in May.

123Rf 0,6% down

I've been reading over on the IS forums about February earnings... lots of veterans lamenting the fact that downloads are off significantly over the past several months. I wonder if one of these top line Microstock agencies would ever sharply cut off new contributors? Do they no think the contributors they have now are enough to handle the load of the demand? It seems like the influx of new contributors at all the bigger sites are really starting to dilute downloads for people with bigger portfolios...

My February and 2008 numbers, with 2007 for comparison:

Site 2007 2008 Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec
IS 26% 31% 22% 37%
DT 16% 22% 30% 16%
StockXpert 20% 15% 19% 12%
FT 13% 9% 8% 11%
BigStock 8% 7% 8% 5%
123 4% 6% 5% 8%
FP 3% 3% 2% 3%
CanStockPhoto 2% 1% 1% 1%
LO 2% 2% 3% 1%
Scan 1% 1% 0% <1%
CS <1% 0% 0% 0%
Zymm<1% 3% 3% 5%
rest 4% 2% 3% 1%

BME, 8.5% above previous BME (Mar/07).  Overall earnings were 32% above January and 80% above December (which was a slow month for me).

BME at IS, with an EL helping make it 54% above previous BME (even without the EL it would have been my BME - I can only dream of another month like this...).  DT, StockXpert and BigStock were down by 15-30%.  FT was 80% above January, a good result after six months of declining performance (new prices helped it more than number dlds).  Excellent month at 123RF, more than doubling my average monthly earnings in the past six months.

2nd BME in FP with few but well priced sales.  A couple of good sales also in Zymm made it an outstanding month there too.  Few sales in CanStockPhoto, no sales in CS.

Not shown above, I had one sale in Albumo and one in SV.

Regards,
Adelaide
