So...iStocks sales have drastically declined over the past few months(drastically more than then they tend to be this time of year)...views seem to be down as well, although they are often broken (like most things seem to be with their system). Are the declining sales to stock in general or is this specific to iStock?

Either way the bigger question is why are they down. The lack of transparency on IS has only led to speculation.

Jan - BME by quite a bit!
So far for Feb - probably below average. Quite a big drop, IS is almost inactive.

According to the poll results on this site...nothing has really changed.

I'm pretty new here, where are the polls? The one's to the right?

I had some good sales on istock in the beginning of january, I think people were using up their credits. Then I deleted my good images and the sales dropped to almost zero.
On shutter it was opposite, weak sales in the beginning of January, then 2nd half of January and February increasing sales. Still rising.

Same here, first half of January was almost nonexistent, then started to pick up.  February has been very strong BME unless the bottom falls out.  Reviews are stretching longer at all agencies though, maybe more ex-Istock material getting moved in?

SS is going really well, I've just overtaken January which is nice, iS has ground to a halt, others are slow.

interesting months ahead i should imagine.

In the poll results on the right - has iStock ever been so low before?

Surprised someone hasn't started a poll - "In which month during 2013 will iStock drop to Middle Tier...?"

Glad to hear some are having a good February though across the sites.

My sales  on iS have drastically declined as I deactivated majority of my portfolio for some reason :-)
Sales on SS and FT are good.
Sales on 123rf continue to drop fast since December, DT is heading to low earners.

According to the poll results on this site...nothing has really changed.

It has. SS was up around 98 two months ago, and IS was around 45. So they both dropped over 10 points.

Sales are recovering this month at a good pace for me. New files, though, barely sell, but nothing is perfect in this world.

Yep November is normally one of the best months of the year and December, January are normally a couple of the worst.  It is to be expected that your sales will be lower if those are the months you compare.  10 pts or $50 is not really much difference anyway, just a couple sales or one video sale in a month or a couple big guys not reporting or a few small guys reporting for the first time, I wouldn't consider that drastic by any means.  Looking back at the last 6 months on the graph things look normal to me with nothing too extreme.
One guy said nothing had changed, and I pointed out something has changed. The OP is questioning if sales have dropped and the poll confirms they have. So everything I say is correct. I didnt even mention the word drastic. A ten point drop is a change. Dont put words in my mouth.

I believe ponke was responding to the comment "nothing has really changed" not the title of the thread. Tickstock says that sales are no more down than to be expected and the change is not drastic, nor can I see any inference that ponke had suggested otherwise, so no words put in anyone's mouth.

Ugghh.
OP: Has anything changed drastically?
Tick: Nothing really changed (drastically).
Ponke:  It has.
The topic is about drastic change across the board...

I was responding to the quoted comment, you are adding words, making it a fallacy, to prove you are right. Whatever.

Me too.  SS doing okay, and 123RF, but other sites sales are pretty blah.

Usually March is my best or second best month (after November) but unless things pick up a LOT from where they are now I will probably be disappointed.
