You will need 100 images to apply there, and there are guidelines regarding same image or "similars" going to other agencies. So although they do not restrict the photographer from doing business elsewhere, they in effect want exclusive images on their service. And although it is loosely stated, you must keep the supply lines flowing.  Do read the photographers section and understand all aspects of there guidelines thoroughly before submitting there.

I've submitted to AGE for many years, although not that much the past couple years or so. They pay 50/50 for their RF sales which is very unusual in this business for a trad agency. I like them. They have been around a long time and are still essentially a mom and pop business although mostly a pop business since I've never heard of a mom there. They sell reasonably well but have no where near the clout of the bigger trad agencies like Getty of Corbis. Things can take a little longer there than I like.

I don't know, it really depends on what you shoot. If you shoot a higher quality commercial image I'd say you would be better off at AGE but if you are a high volume editorial photographer I'd say Alamy. Alamy is non exclusive so you can seek your own clients or other outlets to sell through while AGE is image exclusive. Then comes the decision whether you should submit to AGE or Pixtal , the RF arm of AGE. I make more money from Alamy right now than AGE but then I have more images at Alamy than AGE that are suited for Alamy.

Alamy isnt really the place for that, i've had a bunch of sales there but its all editorial

I have about 200 photos at age only 141 online as RM and 6 photos as RF (pixtal). Till now in one year no sale but i believe its one of the best  stock agency the thing is you have to have a big collection.
 Alamy is a very good too 5 sales as RM this year .. fine for me now i have 1102 photos

Age was my first experience in the stock photo business, before I discover microstock, I submit there since 2005, but  during 2008 I focused on micro mostly, but I´ll continue with age because is a great agency, very important in many countries, and with 30 years in the market of stock photo. I have  only there a small portfolio (about 75 photos, against my 700 in the micro agencies), but still I make 20 dollars per month (not bad, considering the small quantity of images I´ve got there). The times are slow though. It could take  3 months since you submitt a photo and it appears on line. Photos must be exclusive there. But it´s worth the effort, in my opinion.

I became interested in Age, but I couldn't find any info if they require exclusive images or not?
