I was cruising the web and found this website that has some very good information to keep in mind and the do's and don't of stock photography. Good questions you need to ask yourself and keep in mind before you take those shots. There are other links on there to good information. So if you are a newbie it would be worth your while to take a look at this site. Even as a experienced photography it is good to read to get yourself back on track.

It really does contain alot of good information, some even we can learn from as experienced photographers or to refresh our memory. I think sometimes we forget the do's and don't of photography from day to day. It helps us old folks to remember......not that I'm old ::)

Useful page, two minor flaws,

The link for Andreas Rodriguez (composite images) points to Sean's iStock portfolio

The Captcha to contact the site owner has no image in Firefox or IE. So I couldn't write to him.  :-X

Does anyone believe the most searched words for SS has anything meaningful? Pizza is #11 this month. #100 is a male body part. Some in between are hard to believe as "top searched" words. Other months people have spammed it up with expletives.

It may be an old link and doesn't work correctly. Heh Race why didn't you take me up on that offer to split the pizza so we could get it photographed and uploaded before it got cold??? See now it's already dropped to 11th place....LOL :D

I have cold pizza for breakfast, that's what I was shooting. I can't give away any more top secret Pizza Photo tips. 40 more sales and I get a free Medium, three topping for my work.

The link points to a members user number, which in both cases is SJLocke. Just a typo.

Thanks Leaf, I didn't see the source of the site was active here.
