After saying earlier in the thread that nothing has changed for me I have now had an  EL every day this week

nothing has changed for me

(I hope that works).

I have gotten more ELs in the last few months, but more OD and regular downloads too.

I'm trying to find something that makes sense to explain this, or I'm going to start thinking there's a hacker with a fake credit card out there downloading all the images he can until the hack is caught and shut down, and all these downloads are removed from our accounts.

I can't explain the high number of ELs, but a hacker buying EL makes no sense. If he can get an image with a fake credit card, what use would be an 'enhanced license' for a fraudulently obtained image? He does not get any more rights than he already has - namely none whatsoever.

A possible explanation?  SS recently started promoting (or maybe just testing) its single-download option.  Maybe that's attracting quite a few people who aren't really sure what licensing this option covers, and then they find out that they actually need an extended license and go that route instead?   Might be a stretch but it looks like the timing of the two things correlate.

If that was the case then I think people would be reporting the new single sales as well and so far I haven't heard anybody say that they have one.
PS  I've just had another one, that's 6 so far this week Smiley

Half your luck.  I'm pretty much as usual with ELs at the moment.  I've seen a huge increase in ODs this week Grin but not ELs  Sad

I am experiencing this as well, 7 in the last couple days, which is very unusual. I also got my first "single download" sale today, a nice 5.70 commission, shos up in the far right column next to total. BME already at ShutterStock. Clearly, they are making the right moves!!!!

Maybe Stockmarketer was right then: "SS recently started promoting (or maybe just testing) its single-download option.  Maybe that's attracting quite a few people who aren't really sure what licensing this option covers, and then they find out that they actually need an extended license and go that route instead?"

(As for me, yet another EL today, but no Single DL sales yet.)
