I currently contribute to SS, IS, FT, DT, DS and Can
DT seems dead in the water and im wondering if its worth the effort to upload to BS or RF.  Any thoughts?  is anyone earning in these places?

I would say yes, based on my experiences. But others might disagree.

Anything in the poll that's equal or slower than DT, no thanks.

Some agencies below DT made me 1500$ last year, and I wasnt even with some of them for a full year. That amount is big enough for me not to ignore

123RF is beating FT this month (go figure!) so yes well worth it. I have quit Bigstock a long time ago (very low sales) so cannot comment on that agency. I am with 6 microstock agencies and the only ones worth it for me are SS, FT & 123RF.

I wouldn't bother with BigStock (I left when they introduced subs with lowball royalties and would not let contributors opt out, but the reports here suggest they're declining in revenues, not increasing)

123rf had a good January (a little better than Jan 2014) and DT's in a slump. In Jan 2014, DT earned me 83% more than 123rf. This January they were almost the same (DT $4 more). With both agencies your earnings will start lower and increase based on sales - DT's level system and 123rf introduced the toxic RC-like system, so you start at a very low rate but can work up. I'd suggest you give both of them a shot.

Alamy's potentially interesting - they had been dead for me most of last year but then woke up in January. Only 3 sales, but 50% of $207 gross is better than many smaller agencies. Their problems - uploading is a massive pain and they take an amazingly long time to pay you

Both BS and 123 have RC systems so you will start at a very low level - I think it is 25 cents for BS and only 22 cents for 123 for subs sales.  The 22 cents is the lowest among the majors and not worth it in my opinion unless you have a lot of images and can get to a higher level quickly.  I think all new people should boycott 123 until they raise their minimum rates.

That said, I usually make much more at 123 than at BS - sales numbers have been increasing at BS but earnings are flat or only very slightly increasing due to the low return per DL since they instituted the RC system.

I stopped uploading to both of them when they introduced their changes (BS introduced subs paying less then their mother company Shutterstock, 123RF introduced the RC system with completely insulting subs rates).

They both have never been big sellers, so it doesn't matter much for me.
Maybe I should just drop them.
