How it works now (not back in the Flickr days) ... experiences good and bad welcome ... achieved prices and sales volume ... licence type choosen ... % acceptance rate ... which collection it submissions end up in ... any link to iStock?

Many thanks

Seems to work the same as it did in the flickr days. Has a couple of sales occasionally, usually rakes in 50$+ on a sale however have seen sales as low as 1$. License is RF only, has a separate moments collection on the getty page (not sure how the collections are categorized now). I don't think it has any relation to iStock.

A Getty moment is when you get to your office and you realise you have absolutely no work to do. Look at these people experiencing Getty moments.  :)

I recently got accepted as a contributor to moment collection. I only uploaded few images so far, no sales yet.

Is it possible to delete or edit details of already accepted image?

What sort of images they sell most? Most my my images are travel images.

Are you get notified when an image is downloaded?

Thanks a lot for replies.

It's bit scary to hear that I cannot delete my own images once they got accepted.  :-\

You can delete all of them, canceling your contract.

I just want to edit my copyright notice, but it seems not possible.  :-\

You can contact the contributor help and ask them to do that ... but prepare yourself to wait a very long time for them to answer.

im not partial to the idea of exclusivity of images contributed there  yes, i understand they're GETTY but im not convinced Moment will take off enough to be bothered.  wishing those here who do contribute there lots of success so ya'll can come back and tell us its safe :P

So is the moment collection just a microstock version of getty? I've uploaded a few pics there. But all my sales (very infrequent) come from images that got selected from Flickr back when they picked images from there
