I am absolutely satisfied with Canva.

Fast upload, no categories...high sales! New licenses coming soon...more money coming soon :)

I started submitting to Canva just about a year ago.  My experience has been good and, if not bad, certainly quirky.  Their submitter side needs a lot of work; it doesn't provide a lot of information on what has been accepted or what sells.  For example, you can see each sale as it gets recorded, but there's nothing to help identify what's selling well.  And their policies are opaque and/or evolving, so you can waste a lot of time uploading work that will never get approved.

But the good is pretty good.  For me, sales are regular and frequent.  Canva outearns BigStock and is competitive with CanStock, and is way ahead of a bunch of more established agencies.  I'd say they're worth exploring.

Read the existing very long Canva thread.
It would be better if Canva was added as itīs own category on MSG, as the other agencies, instead of having all about Canva in one thread. Canva is not that new anymore.

I'm not saying everything about Canva should be in one thread, but that that one thread has the answers the OP is looking for.

I understood that and I agree with you! Your post just reminded me of what I have thought for a long time, that it would be better with different Canva threads for different topics, it is not that easy to find information in that long thread now.

I think Canva is good - they are the only agency getting customers by doing something different rather than just cutting prices.

Does anybody know how long reviews are taking these days?  I have some submitted ten days ago that now seem to have been removed from the ftp processing queue but still haven't shown up in my portfolio.  Not sure if I should worry or am just being impatient.

Well I uploaded 29 images yesterday and are already online.

But I also uploaded about 30 images a week or so ago, and are still not online.

Thanks.  I might need to ask what is going on then.

They seem to be quite good. I've tried getting onboard a couple if months ago, but got rejected. Guess i should try again now.

Any clue what files they are looking for? Isolated would be my guess

Nope, at least not at present.  Their plan was to do their own high quality isolations, so every image on a white background had to wait for that laborious manual process.  Then the queue for isolations got so big they said they might never get to them.  Images without isolation can get approved or rejected quickly; isolations aren't worth submitting until something changes.

I don't submit any.  And that includes any color background, even if it is not just a solid color.

For a while, they were happy to accept PNGs (of photos) with a transparent background, but when they started to zap already approved images, most (but not all) of the transparent PNGs I had were retroactively rejected.

I don't know if the remainder will go when they get around to it, or if some transparent PNGs are OK.

And I'll echo Sean's comment that even a plain wall background (not a solid color and with texture) is likely not to be OK with Canva.

I was told by Lee that solid color backgrounds are treated the same as a white BG.  They all must go into the cut-out queue.  If you can isolate the subject with a transparent BG and submit as a PNG file, they seem to be accepted OK (so long as the isolation is of high enough quality).

I have not submitted there, but they were next site I was planning to submit to.   After reading the last pages of the Canva thread, I  am not to sure.  Lots of my images are isolated.  It would take about half hour to remove the white background well for each and make a png.  NO WAY I will waste this time to have images rejected or deleted later.

Maybe I will try submitting photos on location shoots.  Are lifestyle doing well?

How do you join as submitter there. I signed up at their site, all I see some design elements. Is there any other contributor page?
