Title: Comprehensive (honest) List
Post by: a.k.a.-tom on July 29, 2009, 18:59
What the.....???  It seems the more I turn around the more I'm finding my stuff all over the place on agencies I've never heard of that turn out to be 'affliated' and 'not affiliated' , partnered, good buddied, knows a guy at such and such a agency...

We need a complete & comprehensive listing by these larger agencies of exactly who they are affliated and where we can expect our pix to show up and how & what we are going to get paid for the stinken things.
    I came across three outfits last night with my pix on, two look like they lead back to FT.  Am I over reacting?  How do we know where its all going?  8)=tom

that would be a great idea.  what other sites are selling your work that you didnt authorize and do you know who the deal is through?

Same kinda of secretive (you don't need to know) crap that got me sideways with FT.

John,  their excuse is that YOU, the competition, will find out who their partners are.

ya lol, like we're dealing with the Mob. the less transparency the more shady the business, like they always say.

I think this was discussed in DT long ago.  This is (unfortunately) an information they don't disclose.  BigStock and FT are the same.  StockXpert said months ago that they did not have any partners other than JIU/Photos.com.

I like "goodbuddied" sites :)

totally agree that just tick box for partner sites isnt enough but then there are lots of them :)

well...
fotolia = ping, bilderking, pixmac, everystockphoto, slide, moo/readymade, templatemonster, heywatch,
dt = imageclick, phototimes
123rf = glow images
panthermedia = pixamba (I think there is a deal with zymm and panther too ??)

I'm sure there are lots more :)

I didn't know all of those FT partners...
Long ago I asked in their forum to get a list of all partners - as anybody can guess, it was denied.

Panthermedia has a lot more partner sites, but they list them all so you at least know where to expect your pics (and yes, Zymmetrical is one of their partner sites).

in this thread http://www.microstockgroup.com/panthermedia-net/easyfotostock-and-panthermedia/msg109988/?topicseen#new (http://www.microstockgroup.com/panthermedia-net/easyfotostock-and-panthermedia/msg109988/?topicseen#new)

Keith from zymm posted this link  http://www.panthermedia.net/index.php?page=cms%2Fpages%2Fdisplay2.php&cms_id=196&select_language=en (http://www.panthermedia.net/index.php?page=cms%2Fpages%2Fdisplay2.php&cms_id=196&select_language=en)

which lists the 80-odd partners that panthermedia has

clicking a few like say brightqube see they are also a partner with dreamstime.

I'm kind of amazed
