Hi, how can I participate in this art challenge?

I have a big stock of animal pics that could match the theme "evolution". Do I have to download the Creativechain app?

Hi, anyone can participate. Just make sure you have a great design about the specified theme "evolution".
We are stardust, we are golden, We are billion year old carbon- Joni Mitchel, 1970

It is scientifically proven that our bodies are made of remnants of stars and massive explosions in the galaxies, that, through evolutionary processes, have given rise to biodiversity in, species, organisms, and molecules.

In the mid-19th century, Charles Darwin formulated the scientific theory of evolution on his famous book The Origin of Species. This book, written for non-specialist, has generated scientific, philosophical, and religious discussion since its publication.

Evolution and its process are a massive source of inspiration for artists, musicians, writers and designers who give birth to their creations while developing their personal style. In this challenge we want to hear your thoughts on evolution in a personal, social, or global level. Post a picture, song, video, collage, poem that depicts change, growth; evolution.

All info available is here: www creativechain org/evolution-challenge/

It is Luke and his mate (or sock puppet) trying to drum up interest.  ::)

??
Come on I am just trying to encourage artists to participate in a decentralized art contest in a non-profit organization. Please don't be this close minded... Artists should have more spaces like Creativechain where share their works without intermediaries who take abusive benefits from them

Embarrassing what? If you're happy using Instagram, good luck man. Let the rest of us try new ways to distribute our works choosing the distribution licenses that better suit us  8)

"Embarrassing" refers to the transparently scripted conversation between two new forum members. Not a very honest way to promote anything and something that is all too common on this (and other) forums.

The actual scheme I think is pretty awful, but not embarrassing.

A lot of creatives were very excited about the opportunities blockchain offers. Mainly that it hints at a way of keeping track of all licenses ever sold of an image. A sort of universal ledger adopted by all agencies (maybe a not for profit funded by the industry could be responsible for the "Universal License Tracker").

What you are offering is precisely the opposite. It promotes anonymity, which in the creative industry really only appeals to people who steal other people's work as far as I know. What legitimate artist wants to avoid exposure?

Quote "The cryptocurrency is anonymous and no one is obliged to reveal its identity, which makes of CREA a perfect currency to register contents anonymously. "

It promotes anonymity for whoever wants it. If you look at the platform, there are people who in their profiles are promoting their websites or personal portfolios. It is about the authors being able to decide how they distribute their work without having to abide by abusive clauses of the abusive laws.
I imagine that anyone who loves art, knows the problems that artists have to spread their works and be able to make a living with them, so I think they will support platforms like Creativechain that contribute to improving the situation of the artists.
