This is a work in progress I need your help.

I had a pleasant surprize at SS today my earnings had jumped by $20, did I have a top 50 photo no an extended licence sale so I thought I would compare your share

DT $50-$150 - do we really get 50%?
SS $20
FT $3.30 - $16.50 (we set the price but still a bit low)
BigStock $3 - $20

iStock selling $25 - $100 are we getting screwed over for a lousy 20%? $5-$20

Does anybody know if you can increase extended licences at FT in a bulk format as all my images are set at the default measly 10 credits?

Non-exclusives get 50%, exclusives get 60%.  You can find the info here:

FT $3.30 - $16.50 (we set the price but still a bit low)

The commission will vary depending on your ranking (white, bronze, etc.) and your exclusivity.  I can't seem to find the minimum amounts anywhere (except for the white ranking), but here is the maximum commission for non-exclusives.
White (<100 sales) $3.30-6.60
Bronze (100-1000) up to $16.50
Silver (1000-5000) up to $33.00
Gold (5000-10000) up to $49.50
Special (>10000) up to $66.00

You can find the info here:

Had a quick look at that table

Don't forget your cut increases by 2% as you climb the ladder at FT so that table should read

White (<100 sales) $3.30-6.60
Bronze (100-1,000) $3.50 to $17.50
Silver (1,000-5,000) $3.70 to $37.00
Gold (5,000-10,000) $3.90 to $58.50
Special (10,000>) $4.10 to $82.00

Fotolia's customer service has gone to shits last month. They take forever to answer ANY messages nowadays.

Back to the topic: I have all my Extended licences set to $40 on Fotolia so at bronze that's $14 to me. Quite a bit low if you ask me. At Big Stock, I refused most Extended license options except for the ONE piece license (the one that allows reselling, but pays you PER item). I mean they are absolutely ridiculous: $20 to you for UNLIMITED reprints of postcards? $7 for up to a 1000 calendars (limited???)? Can you imagine how much dough you can make selling a 1000 calendars? I can, because I've done it before: for each calendar I netted $7. Not that I sold a 1000, but still. $7,000 possible profit and of that $7 going to the provider of art/graphic? Dreamstime prices are great, I wonder how many Extended Licenses they're selling. iStock's WERE good, now they've become Walmart. 123RF: great, $99, you get $49.50

I just got an email from Chad & Eugenie telling me that the engineers had now changed all the prices of my E.Ls to $100 (which means that I would get $39 per sale being Gold). I had one E.L sale yesterday which netted me $19.50 (prices were still set at $50 then) and it would have been good to get double that. Not that I am complaining at all!

I have never had a sale on BS that wasn't for 50 cents! But I will check out their Extended License options as you are right, they sound WAY off the mark.

Phil -  do you think by having your prices above the majority of others (ie at $100 compared to $10 or $20) you are reducing possible sales.

I am nearly at bronze with Fotolia and am yet to decide whether I will raise my prices.  Still trying to figure out who the buyers are and what they are willing to spend.

I e-mailed Chad regarding the increasing the price of extended licences, I had a few sales there versus one a SS and none anywhere else.

Its a tough decision to keep prices low to hopefully sell more XL or increase them so they are inline with other agencies. Not as bad as micro vs macro.

Do you have to opt in/out of 123rf extended licence scheme almost $50 sounds good.

Go to: http://submit.123rf.com/pgrapher_profile.php, scroll down and check the box "Include me in the Extended License terms". It's a flat 99 credit purchase, 50% to you (or 30% if you joined after March I believe)
