Title: Generic Model Release Form...
Post by: Velvia on November 12, 2007, 11:31
Hello guys,

Is there such a thing as a model release form for all the BIG 6.
Is there a place or someone who has one form that agencies will accept?

Its such a drag to make my models sign 8-10  different forms.

Any help?

Thanks in advance :)

I think most people use the istock release (it requires the most information) then crop the release down so that the istock logos are cropped out when submitting it to the other sites.

Can somebody send me a cropped version of that release?
Thanks a million :)

why don't you do it in your editing software, whatever you use.  Even the cheap free software will crop.

I already cropped it.
Hopefully that release will work. Otherwise, it will be a pain :)

Did anybody ever encounter any problems with that release.
I just want to make sure before i start sending them...

I have used it without any problems on every site I have submitted to.

It says istock at the bottom of the form, make sure that you delete that as well.

I combined the strictest terms of SS, IS and DT (DT is very lax). This is my MRF and it has been accepted by all sites - and both valid for minors and adults:
http://www.flemishdreams.com/jl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=38 (http://www.flemishdreams.com/jl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=38)
and this for adult:
http://www.flemishdreams.com/jl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=30&Itemid=39 (http://www.flemishdreams.com/jl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=30&Itemid=39)

You can download in Word or HTML format.

Watch out, SS wants the guardian and minor model on the same page!

my problem always... i need theses contracts in english and german, german agencies dont accept english releases... so i have on version in german on version in english (i think i use istock also) on one dina4-letter thats horror :-)

most agencies take this release.. but some like bigstock right.. please take our release-forms... and this is not possible... i cant give my model 20 different releases... most of them dont speak english...

In German agencies you dont have these kind of problems.. you already have a button: YES I HAVE A RELEASE... thats it... klick on it... if you have no release it will your problem...

regards yvonne

I use Fotolia MR on SS. But DS does not accept it.
