hi! It's september 16th and the getty esp royalties graphic still doesn't update, the latest month they show is July, when do you think it will update?
all other sites update earnings in real time, why getty delay 6 weeks to this?

On or before the 20th of September, the August Getty reports will get published. It has always been that way as long as I have been a contributor. iStock just recently moved to the same schedule/system.

sometimes I feel like Getty is just a company of three persons in an office doing all the job

I feel its more like three people trying to do one one job and none of them have a clue how to do it with four people managing them ;-)

Sunny. A bit hazy. Pollution was bad at the weekend but seems to have cleared a bit. It's cooler at night; autumn's on the way.

Really, do you notice pollution? Is it from China/HK or drifting from other places?

Been there twice but never thought of pollution being a problem.

They probably didn't yet decide how much money to steal from contributors...

Some from the Pearl River delta. But lots locally too. Apparently ships are allowed to burn bunker fuel in port in HK, which they can't do elsewhere.

Anyway, it's now 10pm in HK.  Still no sign of an update from Getty.

It says RF; that 'should' have earned you an EL for multi-user use, but I suppose the buyer has got a 'deal'.  :(

Probably for a large company so their employees can keep using the image all over the world.

Third worst month of the year after Jan and Feb. Downloads and rpd both down on July. Worst August since 2007.

That downloads year-to-date is over-reporting by quite a bit.

mmm i taste the smell of crap coming from a deal that could have granted me once at least 1000 dollar...
but i'm happy anyway is a series that keep selling a lot in any agency, and granted how much equipment i bought to produce that is good to keep recovering money.

i have to say that for me 85% of sale are well above 0,28 cent...so not bad...clearly with the old scheme it would have been first month of stock overtaking ss..

For me personally the game with iStock/Getty is over. Worst month in 2017 and in the last 26 months in principle. 27 bucks in total, it's just a joke. Is that the result of their (admitted by themselves) change in the search engine, giving priority to new stuff? Sick.

Now, I don't even need their live stats they can't deliver for 9 months already, what's the point anyway?

I just don't see how one can survive with this kind of agency's inconsistent behavior. You stop uploading due to horrible ESP system, miserable royalties and lack of transparency, with plummeting revenues, until they fix something. And in the meantime they punish you second time for dumping your portfolio since it wasn't updated in a while,in favor of those who continued uploading new content (and directly agreeing with this whole disgrace).

Wow, people at Getty are probably laughing out loud now seeing all this.

Istock is a loss leader to drive customers to the Getty products. Of course we are the head of that loss and taking a loss ourselves. I don't know why people are so intent on reporting when it takes up to two months to show and longer to get paid. What's another day? Don't worry, our pittance will be credited to our accounts soon enough.

I no longer upload and the decision will be whether to remove all work before the years end. Problem is, I already worked and I make a small sum each month. I don't need their deplorable small commissions, but I earned that and have a right to make some money back for my work. iStock will get nothing new. I'm watching the sales with DM3 and the stats show a change in what's selling. Those stats are limited of course, but dismal.

Tell us more. I'd love to see some figures.
