Any advice to overcome this challenge?
 ;D
Sorry if this post is a bit too pointless, but as we all know, keywording make you do strange things

I know just how you feel! it's very hard to stop creating just to monotonously go through and keyword a heap of images. Why do you think I've spent so long procrastinating on this forum the last few days?
Just try to think about all those lovely royalties coming your way when they are finally uploaded!

In the time you used to write your forum post you would have keyworded at least two images!

Just make yourself a big cup of strong coffee, put some nice music on the background and start keywordin'.

Once you get keywords properly grouped in a good dam package I find you should be able to populate about 500-750 keywords in 8 hours.

LOL @ FD... brilliant  ;D

In terms of keywording process, each to his own (obviously) but I always work on one image at a time right through to final keywording.  If I had to sit and keyword a large batch without varying my task, I would gradually either slump to the floor or go a bit nutty. ;)

If you are batch-wording, and haven't tried the singular approach, it might be worth a shot, just to see which suits you better.

Yep!  This is how I do it too.  Another advantage to keywording them as you work on them is you can easily cut and paste keywords to each image in a series and only have to remove or add a few for each one.

In a series I also put the words that are different at the end (like "smiling" "frowning" etc.) so they can be easily removed and replaced without having to hunt through the majority of the words, which would remain the same.

Last but not least, if I have an older image on a similar concept I will cut and paste those keywords and then only have to change a few.  It's also a good way to discover there may be words you need to add to the older image that could help it sell better :)

I hate to be repetitive, but I use PhotoMechanic which allows you to build keyword lists for as many subjects as possible. Then you can just paste as many lists as apply to your images and save a ton of time. Just a little cleaning up after to remove irrelevant words.

I agree, I use Expressions Media which guesses what you want so typing "ma" gives you "man, men, male, person, people, adult" or what ever else you want. All across as many images as you want in a single move. Cross reference to previously keyworded images and it's really not much of job.

Adobe Lightroom, has so far been the most efficient tool/software for us.
Especially multiple images with a similar theme, as well as resizing them.
