Question: This is a poll to find out what ages our different groups fall into. Just curious
60+ pro
60+ amature or hobbiest
50+ pro
50+ amature or hobbiest
40+ pro
40+ amature or hobbiest

I've always wondered how old some of the fellow photographers on here are. Some sound quite wise while other sound immature. Just want to get some of an idea if everyone is in the same age group. Thought it would make for a nice subject.

what means amateur and pro?  is there a earnings minimum, or full time is pro? or its our feeling??

I consider pro someone who makes their living off of microstock. This day and age, that is very difficult, but there are ones who do it.

EDIT>>>>>I guess I should say a pro is someone who makes their living off of photography in general not just microstock.

There are only few photographers here who make their living only out of microstock. So, the poll will show mostly amateurs. Maybe it would be better if we say that "pro's" are simply people who live only out of photography business, and amateurs the rest . This way we could see what percent of real photographers we have here.

once there must be a lot of microstockers that have very nice income and have another job..

I've wondered this for a long time. It's really kinda interesting looking at the poll as it stands right now.

Well at the moment there are 80 guests and 27 users with 3 hidden. There are a total of 4378 members to date. To bad all of them are not on here....but then I doubt the server would be able to handle it...lol

Hmmmmm.....27 online users.....37 votes?Huh 10 people must have jumped on voted and left cause now its down to 24 from 27.....

Oh well it's still interesting to know. Maybe tomorrow will show more.

I lived in Texas from 1984 to 2009, the Dallas area....I was born in Texas but moved away when I was young, but returned after I was married. In 2009 I moved to Alabama.. near Fort Rucker;)
