This is my first "concept" image, I took it years ago.  I showed it to my daughter, who owns one of the hands, and she was impressed that her hand is now in bookstores.  Now that I have more experience, my new "concepts" will probably go to a RM site.  This is my second cover, but the first was for an online only book.

How much did you make on the sale of this photo?  Just a few cents/dollars?

Enough to get me off my a$$ and start submitting new style stuff to RM sites rather than the micros.   I consider it a personal "wake-up' call.  I'm calling it experience and learning from it.

gorgeous! congratulations to you and your daughter.
But one thing though, you didn't  say which site gave you this sale.
Mentioning micros, I assume it was a micro that sold the image for you.
Maybe just going RM elsewhere could be cutting off your new marketplace.
Would you not be better keeping that micro site, if it was in fact a micro that gave you the first cheque, separating different styles :
one for RM and the other for RF micro?

I've had plenty of checks, but all the uses I had found were for small news letters.  Seperating micro from RM work is exactly what i am planning on.  what's on micros will stay there, some new images will still be for micros, the rest for RM, neither the two shall mix  Grin

Thank you.  I wore a double layer of latex gloves and used long handled tweeers to fine tune the positioning.
