Fotolia has now over 999.000 Pictures only thousand are missing so upload right now to have a chance to be the million one. The Reviews are very quick currently seems that they wanna win the race!
-
Only 300 left much faster than i thought.
-
oh boy. i don't have much to submit but maybe i should just submit something or other in the hopes of being THE ONE :)
-

-
249 averaging about 1 image a minute.. that means 4 more hours.
I wonder if fire works are going to come out of the website or something.
maybe 100% earnings on all our downloads for a day :)

I feel like it's New Year's and I'm watching the ball drop at Times Square!
143 to go...

I just missed it.
I was refreshing and it went from 999,998 to 1,000,001 within a second.
No fireworks, nothing special.
Oh well...

1000200 and they've changed the logo to have a 106 symbol on the logo... No fireworks still though.
-
bugger I missed it at the cinema I wonder who got the millionth image.
They speeded up at the end as I thought it would be on Monday so they clipped off 3 days. Maybe they are going to give the reviewers the weekend off.
Thanks to Geopappas for the screen shot, nothing in their blog about it maybe they surprised themselves at least they had the logo on ice.
I noticed Dreamstime in their early days used to give away prizes for landmark images.

DT lets us know about every 10 thousand mark, with a link to the image. Fotolia should have highlighted such a milestone at least at their blog.

been trying to see what's up but the site's not responding (for about the last 5 minutes)
Call me suspiciou/practicals but I think they pre-select the landmark images. If they do, it makes sense -- you'd want to highlight the landmark with an image that's extra special.

Mine didn't make it, still pending review.
Congrats to Fotolia for making the million mark... ;D
