I made very good "tagliatelle ai frutti di mare" (with a bottle of Verdicchio di Jesi) and a perfect Beef Stroganov (with a bottle of Bordeaux).

My guests have been very satisfied!

Today I went on my annual hunt the Gowk trip with two friends (to watch only, not kill, obviously) and saw two, and got a 'bonus' sighting of a Eurasian Jay, which are rare and difficult to see around here. Very happy.

Moved to a new little cozy place with my son, about 10 minutes walk from the Indian ocean, got a nice extra part time job. Haven't made a single photo of the beach yet

I successfully emailed Istock to remove my entire portfolio because I'm tired of their sh*tty contributor royalties.

I successfully applied and was accepted to Stockiste--a company that actually seems to care that contributors make money.

Bought a charcoal smoker, refilled the LP gas for the big grill, got a Weber and two bags of charcoal. I'm all in with you're Grill Friends and BBQ. I see a photo op in this as well.

Something successful for me was making more in a weekend, other work, than in a month of Microstock. Also included free lunch for two of the days.

I had two three figure sales on Alamy along with the usual low $ ones. First time that's happened in a looong time.

Non stock related, just got news my neice is getting married to her boyfriend of several years. Both medical residents and sweet kids. So happy for them!

good - I got some big value Alamy sales
Bad - the biggest 2 were distribution - so I get 40% less
good - many more weekend days than 2 a week
bad - that is based on SS sales
Good - I got to play with my friend's full frame camera
bad - now I want one
Good - March was my best month in $ in over a year
Bad - April is looking really bad other than Alamy
good - lots of wildflowers out and about right now
bad - it has been really windy which makes photos frustrating except in full sun
Actually other than SS things have been going pretty well.

- Threw a couple thousand at cryptocurrencies.
- Sold my Honda on Craigslist for above market value.
- The 2nd half of April was pretty good on SS.

Have spent several weekends in auditoriums and conventions centres at dance competitions. My daughter has been dancing pretty well. Has won two scholarships and we need to add an additional shelf for trophies. It's a real privileged to watch kids from our City blossom/grow up.

No, I haven't met a Mom from another school that comes close to the tv show. We are more of a "make friends backstage and support everyone" kinda town.
