Title: Microstock Wiki
Post by: leaf on June 16, 2006, 06:45
I have started a microstock wiki page.  Hopefully, with time, it will be able to a fully comprehensive microstock guide, and info dictionary.  If you feel like adding some info on a stock site, camera, lens, technique, common problem, rejections, stock lingo, big players in the stock industry (ie. forgiss, andreas, lisa gagne ...), and so on feel free.  It is an open wiki ready to grow :)

Is the wiki down or closed? I am not able to open the wiki.msg links...

yeah, it's closed for business.  It wasn't very well used (except for the odd spammer) so I thought I'd just as well close that area. I should put a redirect up.

What a pity. I found it quite helpful to track commission changes and other stuff stock agencies don't want people to remember...

Yeah, it was nice for that.  Perhaps I'll have to figure out another solution.  The files and data are still there, just sitting in the attic.  It was a pain keeping the wiki platform working and spam free.

if the files are there they could be converted to an online sql database, with smple reporting that wouldnt require constant care

i'd be willing to help out if you're interested
