Topic: MSG, is getting boring and naive!

people are repeating themselves constantly and in severall threads. IS exclusives, frustrated and angered are venting their frustration about the same old thing over and over again and then trying to tone down every little bit of criticism against IS and in a very nice and polite way,  thinking nobody will notice?

This forum has become a " change of life" place, where its more concerned with just complaints then remedy and I fear its getting towards just an agony-aunts passtime rather then the helpful forum we once had. Pitty!

Reading all these nonsense threads like ignore threads, this and that,  I mean whats that?  no pain no game, right.  Its like a bunch of ** asking for permission.

Im taking a bit of time out here.

Sadly, I have to agree...and admit at the same time that I may be one of those which are constantly repeating their rants.
But all this seems to be not without cause...mmmm

Agree. There are some actual reasons to complain, but it's no excuse for us to repeat ourselves over and over.
I abandoned many other forums for this very reason. This, I cannot leave completely because there are still good independent news now and then but it's getting boring indeed.

I wouldn't say msg is getting naive, it's realistic and that's why it may be boring a monothematic.
When I want to read something really naive, I click on Dreamstime Blogs link on Picniche panel.

What I don't get is that if you know a thread is the same ol sheet different day why open them why read them?  I ignore a lot of threads that have nothing to do with me or with a particular agency.  Once in awhile I'll take a sneaky peak to see what the fuss is about then once I get the jist of it I go to something else that might interest me.

Don't like it...don't read it (and I'm pretty sure that's been said before so I'm just repeating now Tongue)

The whole forum represents the kind of a microstock contributor.
I talked with many people who found my job interesting but only 0.1% of them become contributors. They are like all of us.
So what's the problem if frustration is one of our main subjects? (I was crying many times to my mother but she simply doesn't understood the IS rejects. So I came here)
BTW I said many times, life will be better and I will be more balanced and happy if I don't watch the TV and I don't read the MSG forums anymore. The TV is out, I'm half happy.

I find the posts here endlessly interesting. Why, just today I learned the expression " agony-aunts passtime".
I can't wait to use that. I also learned that all the time I thought it was "no pain no gain", in fact the expression is really "no pain no game". Plus, the laundry tips in another thread are invaluable.   Smiley

Actually the correct version is "no brain no pain"  Grin

Dear Abby,

My agent has been neglecting me lately.  We were so happy together five years ago when we met but things have been progressively getting worse.  He hardly pays me any attention anymore.  Do you think he's seeing someone else?

LOL!  Actually, your agent's not paying attention to anyone else either.  He's simply learned to "pleasure" himself Grin
