Title: Newbie Earning Fading as well?
Post by: Bad Company on August 30, 2017, 20:25
It seems that less newbies are charming in stating that they made like 300% more that a few months ago.  Seems like everyone made huge gains when they first entered the game. Maybe not the case anymore - a sign of a very mature business now :(

Consider this

If a new contributor made a dollar one month then four dollars next month that's a 300% increase.

Of course new contributors are going to have best months ever their earnings are on a low scale.

Also if you have 100 images add another 100 and increase  your port by 100%....10,000 images and its 1%.

Yes, but 100 new images with 0 sales are worth much more than 100 old images with 0 sales. Because of SEO.

That depends on the agency. I'm reading that isn't the case on iS and isn't always the case on SS.
I note you say SEO rather that agencies' internal search, but probably a pretty small percentage of sales comes via search engines, though I have no actual stats.

Its all guesswork really some would say educated guesswork and some highly scientific analysis.
