Hi, I just received an email from videoblocks that says:

The payment failed for the following reason: PayPal: Rejected.
Please login to the VideoBlocks Contributor Portal and edit your payment details to correct this error:
We will attempt to re-submit your payment, along with any new earnings, on January 15th, the next payout date.

It's weird since all my previous payments from them worked fine. Also I got all my payments from other stock agencies this month so looks like an error comes from videoblocks themselves.

I never had this problem, I received the monthly payment today on my PayPal account, so I hope you can solve the problem easily.
At VB are normally very collaborative

I've found out that some of the paypal servers didn't work properly during last 24hrs so maybe it's not videoblocks fault. Anyway I wrote to videoblocks and paypal - if I get any info I'll post it here.

I don't receive earnings on Payoneer.

Do you mean you don't receive earnings on Paypal?

I mean on Payoneer.

Do you mean you receive payments into Payoneer from VB and they didn't arrive either?

I receive this e-mail today : "Our system had an issue with all Payoneer and Paypal payments this month. We are looking into the issue immediately and will provide you an update as soon as we have information about when your payment will be issued."

I got the failed payment email from VB too - Then I got a follow-up email saying that all their paypal payments had problems.
They said that they are working on fixing it.
I am grateful for the info and the update from them. VideoBlocks have always been very friendly and sorted out a previous issue very quickly and transparently.
I see no reason to grab torches and pitchforks just yet...

I received my VB payment yesterday without problems. So not ALL Paypal payments had problems.

MY paypal VB payment went through fine this month, however I had this exact same problem with another agency a couple of months ago. The following month the payment from that agency was back to normal. I'm picking it's a bug on the paypal side. Hang in there, it'll get sorted I'm sure, but do contact VB to get the payment resent.

I received my payment from VB yesterday but my father didn't.
We both didn't receive payments from Pond5.
Pond5 recors in financials:
5403357 March 15, 2016 Payday Paypal undefined $-***.50
5408489 March 15, 2016 Undo Payday undefined $***.50
Maybe it is problem with Paypal. Still waiting for answer from PP.

I didn't receive the payment on Paypal.

I rang Paypal and they told me there is no problem with my account and they haven't refused any payments into my account.

I checked my settings on my VB account and see it says "no payment method selected".
So my payment method changed from "Paypal" to "no payment method selected".

Could I ask that everyone who has failed to get their money into their Paypal account - check your setting on your VB account.

Could that be the problem?

I think VB dropped payment settings after rejected payments.
Paypal answer to VB:
"This is Rick with PayPal.  Kaylyn from your company just called in to find out why several payments that were part of a mass payment sent from your account yesterday failed.
She asked that I send an email with an explanation. What we are seeing on the failed payments is that they are being denied by the recipients account due to some setting on their account.
To resolve the issue, the recipients would need to contact their local contact phone number for PayPal to see what is blocking the payment from coming into their account.
If they notify you that they were able to resolve the issue, you can resend the payment.
Sincerely,
 Rick

so the story goes on... I got the same email "Dear Joel Holland,
This is Rick with PayPal.  Kaylyn from your company just .... PayPal has indicated that the payment failed due to a setting on your account. Unfortunately, it is not clear what setting was changed. In order to resolve this, you will need to reach out to your local PayPal team to determine what changed and reverse it....".

The weird thing is that I also wrote to paypal and they wrote back that everything with my account is fine and all information correct (I did receive payments from other companies) and they didn't find any rejected payment on my account. I contacted VB and Paypal again...
