Thanks! Interesting results for North America. About 75% of the photographers make less $40,000 which I consider the 'bare' minimum to make a full time living.
Presumably that's why the conclusion is
"the business of stock photography has become more of a part-time, supplementary source of income and no longer a viable career."And again, the results just says 'income', I can't remember if that was specifed in the survey as 'gross income', 'gross pre-tax income', 'net pre-tax income' or 'net take-home income'.
