Is anyone using UK based Picture Nation and, if so, with what success?

I think I paid £10 for a pro account.  I have £10 of sales in a few years, none in 2011.  The payout level is £50.  I stopped uploading when the site was unavailable for several months.  I have over 300 there and would expect some sales.  Not encouraged to upload any more, I'll just put this one down to experience.  I really can't recommend them, they just don't seem to have many buyers.

Signed up a year or so after they launched. Just over £190 commission to date. I average one or two sales per month so not the daily adrenalin rush you get from a subs site like Shutterstock. The difference is most of those sales are medium/high res sales that pay £4 and £6 commission (40%). That's equals quite a few sub sales. Selling for me are my archive political images (Tony Blair etc) and UK location shots (Hastings pier etc). Sold one of a Greek island last month but that was the first non UK image I'd sold there. Obviously, only my personal experience with them and cannot speak for anyone else. They are, and will continue to be, part of my upload workflow and those less frequent (but higher paying) than microstock sales add up. Regards, David.

Thanks for your replies.

I also signed up with them when they were about a year old but stopped uploading when they went off air for a few months.

I've got just over £3 commission waiting which I'll never see! I put just 12 of the same pics on iStockphoto (18 downloads) and one on Alamy (1 download, $45 commission) so I'm assuming PN isn't the first port of call for many buyers.

Just wondered how they were doing now and whether it was worth restarting uploads.
Think I'll give them a miss and stick with the better known agencies.
