Looking at PN, the agency leans heavily towards images taken in the UK.
May not suit international contributors.

Hardly surprising considering their headline statement on the front page;

"Great British content, as well as international imagery from our global community of photographers."

Did a search on Brazil.  Saw several photos of Pele, RF without model release, no information whatsoever that this is for editorial use only.  Some have property release (!), maybe from the place where the images were taken.  These are from two different photographers.  Third photographer, Formula-1 racing car, also RF without MR/PR and nothing says its editorial.

Adelaide

Yes I had a look today, and noticed that too. No mention of restricted useage etc.

question is: can you make $ there.

There is a thread about PN under the "New Sites" section and I don't want to bore everybody by repetition. However to answer your question litifeta, I have been with them just over a year and have had some good sales. Mainly editorial type photographs of politicians but also everyday things like a petrol filling station. They do have subs but most of my sales have been medium or high res which pay £14 and £30 commission respectively. Madelaide, I have just looked at their buyers pack section regarding your questions about editorial use. Basically what they are saying is they expect their buyers to ensure they are using the photos in the right way i.e. if it is a photo of Pele without a model release it should only be used as editorial. I think the thing here is that they are pitching at buyers that know the law: BBC television, newspaper publishers etc. Hope this helps, regards, David

Newsfocus1,

I think they should make this more obvious, as this is an open site and any type of buyer may get to it, and many people don't have a clue about licensings.  FP's Elena once said that there are people who see a photo of something and they thing they are buying the article, not the image (a flower bouquet, for example), so go figure.

Regards,
Adelaide

Fair comment Madelaide. They are usually quite open to ideas so maybe this will be done. Regards, David
