Not much. Been there twice it's so boring place to be (sterile). There are many more interesting places to visit in Europe than Switzerland. However wish you nice trip there.

I dont know Lausanne, but I was in Zurich, Basel and Montreux and have always found it exciting to be in places where I have never been before and found plenty of picture locations just walking around. Also if you have a chance you can shoot magnificient landscapes in the Alps or in the countrysides.
I have no specific recommendations for stock, this will be up to you, but want to reassure that you will find motives from authentic to modern. Let us know when you are back!

Totally agree, there is more than enough to shoot!

Not always a friendly place here I guess!  I was watching Topgear a few nights ago and they were travelling through Switzerland. The landscape was truly breathtaking. Its was the episode where they had to push the Aston Martin off a ferry in Italy I believe, before going on to Switzerland. I would look up this place for sure.

switzerland is also one of my less favorite places in europe - i much prefer france & italy.

however, if you go to Lausanne, be sure to go to the Museum Art Brut [outsider art] , just a short walk from the train station

there was also a show devoted to Darger here in Seattle a few years back - his work is a cross between what some might call mild kiddie porn and pre-raphaelite science fiction

 it's one of the most unusual and visually stimulating museums i've visited

we were in Geneva a coupla weeks ago - it has several interesting museums including the Red Cross museum, Patek Phillippe museum of watch making http://www.patek.com/contents/default/en/museum.html, and the Ariana Glass museum which has an astonishing collection - we wenyt to see its special exhibit of Venetian glass, but the entire museum is worth it

What luck, I just sold an extended license for a Lausanne photo this morning for $42.  Rooftops, church spire,lake and French mountains beyond.  It's like I always say, I can never predict what will sell, and no longer try.  Lets keep talking, I'm not superstitious, but this was a nice coincidence.

On april ill be traveling to Switzerland.  Ill be staying in Laussane.  What you reccomend me to photograph there for Microstock?

For stock, the best thing to shoot would be model released lifestyle or business imagery with local backdrops. Not sure how well that's going to fit in to the travel plans though.
