As a second part of my recent post on how things were not so good for me, I'v tried to change my view on microstock. What i can sum up from all the replies i got from you amazing people out there is microstock is not a 'get rich quick' game (as we'v always heard). So my goal is this: Work as hard as i can, creating 'quality' contents  in several agencies for like 2 years. I mean it! Two years full of sweat. Then after that two years, when i'll have a huge port in some several agencies, by that time i'll already know what my niche is exactly and if things don't go well after these two years, i'll have to drop microstock. It's like "building for the future" scheme. I guess in 2019 things will be different if I start NOW! For now i can only dream of a very decent revenue from micro, but all dreams come with work and sweat. Wish me luck for I really hope reaching big one day.
You know what is bad? Doing all those things for two years and get nothing in return! This business is a business of fear and hope. We don't what awaits. But i think we have to sail through the waves to reach that beautiful, calm, peaceful island!

Thats what I did.....except I didn't go full pelt as I only do it as a hobby...look on it as a "training" course you will probably learn a lot about photography techniques particularly post processing and workflow...the hard work never stops though...good luck

Apparently you think "quality contents" is taking other people's work and claiming it as your own.

Your approach is still wrong. There is no beautiful, calm, peaceful island. The work never ends and the island will always be just beyond your ship's reach.

You either do it because you love it and some extra money is a bonus or...

You hire 50 people. Half of them will be photographers prepared to produce at least 50 high quality images per week. The other 25 people will process, keyword and upload those images. That will make you an image farm and you will be able to make "very decent revenue" after about 2 years.

If you are looking it purely from a financial point of view, it makes sense, even if it's highly unlikely that after 2 years and a reasonable portfolio you will get "nothing in return".

However, if you experience some amazing places and meet wonderful people along the way, regardless of whether you make anything, perhaps it will all be worth it?

The thing to keep in mind is that images you create now might not sell but five years down the line they'll still be earning money for you. I've had images sit online for a year without a sale and then see a a big EL that more than justified the time it took to make. Consider it an investment in the future and not a get rich scheme and you won't be disappointed.

None of my friends can say they didn't go to work for a month and still earned a thousand dollars...
