Title: Several videos using stolen stock work.
Post by: NancyCWalker on February 02, 2013, 16:17
This guy has several videos on his YouTube channel which are made with Dreamstime, Cutcaster, Istockphoto and Shutterstock logos still on the images. YouTube won't allow me to report him because they are not my images. Please check to see if your images are there as the channel is about mental health.

There aren't any on the top video on the page (I misread the OP and watched through it), but clearly there are watermarked pics on those further down on the page.

Amazing. You have to be the owner to report obvious violations?

What a farce. Maybe the agencies can explain it to them? Nice catch.

Way back, I found a watermarked iS photo in use and contacted CR about it,  and they wrote back and said they couldn't do anything as I wasn't the author. I did SM the author but heard nothing back: maybe they were seldom on the site and didn't even know there was a SM facility. Maybe even they were banned - I occasionally still get SMs coming in, though I can't access them; so I assume there is no auto-message telling people they can't SM me.
