No sales (downloads) in (8) days now on Shutterstock.  First this morning hundreds of files in my portfolio were missing just like other photographers and now No Sales and counting. I had (3) sales on Bigstock which were small.  Anyone else having this happen to them or do you think it is a glitch and I should write support?  Thanks

Sorry, No sales in Eight Days Now.

Sorry for you.
After a disastrous July my sales have turned to regular now.
I have even more sales than usual during the week-end.

All this make me think that something is going wrong with your portfolio.
8 days without a sale on Shutterstock is absolutely not normal, even with a bad little portfolio (and I am sure that your portfolio is not one of these).
You should contact Shutterstock about that.

How many images do you have in your portfolio? If you could provide us with a link perhaps we could have a better idea where you could improve.

Funny how when you ask to see their portfolio their sales came back- like magic  8)

Someone on Facebook said their images went "missing" in their portfolio the other day. Maybe this could have been the problem?

The issue isn't resolved still. They say tht both customer and contributor side are affected.
I hope its not any malware attack, fingers crossed.

I hope that explains total drop in sales.

Last night, a lot of images temporarily disappeared from our portfolios, so that could explain the slow sales today.

I have noticed something about the Microstock market though, but it could just be the summer slump. Sales on FT are 10-15% lower than normal for the last couple months, but I've been able to maintain a higher weekly position than I did in May. I think the entire industry is seeing a slow down.

I hope it doesn't stick. September will give us a better look at what's going on in the Microstock industry.

Fotolia slow for me too but rating not really affected also the minnow sites are extremely poor for me.

I'm only on a couple of those and sales are down as well. 123RF being a top tier agency has seen a 35% drop from May and a 20% drop from June. August is on pace for July numbers.

When the kids are back to school, the education market will pick up again. Parents should be done with their vacations and our sales hopefully go back up to normal levels.

RF123 dropped like a stone for me like you hoping its seasonal rather than something worse.

SS: the total number of images sold is great, the number of "on demands" zero. Many "single and others", but only in cents. Did they wipe out the "on demands"?

As my good friend Josephine would say, "There is a group of people in this forum, who comment every topic every blessed day. Why would anybody spent this much time for nothing, especially those who continuously talk about their dropping sales. "

I have just got a lot of sales on Shutterstock in few minutes (10 times more than usual) 10 minutes ago.
I am not very happy when I have not a lot of sales, but when they are so much more than usual I always suspect that somebody is buying them to built on his own portfolio

Yes Josephine "a raison", there is always a good reason to lament :p
