I've been using a universal model release with no problem since 2007, but in the last half a year or so Shutterstock started to reject it most of the time. I've asked support about the problem and they just sent me a link to a page listing some release forms Shutterstock accepts.
That's fine, I just want to be sure to choose a release the all agencies accept (I submit to 15-20 of them..)
So what's your experience about model release forms, what do you use that are accepted universally?

I use a slightly modified version of the Getty Images release. Theirs had some odd language about the laws of the country closest to various Getty offices, which I replaced with an explicit reference to US law. It's been accepted everywhere, and when it's rejected, it's because it wasn't filled out completely or someone made a mistake in the format of a date (month/day/year where the form calls for day/month/year).

Thanks for the tip, I will take a look at it.
But I don't think I could do that modification to the legal text

I solved SS MR problem simple and elegant.
Last month SS starts to reject my universal MR (modificated Istock MR)
So I take SS MR and erase everything where is mentioned SS.
This "no name" MR is now always accepted.

Is it accepted everywhere? I'll give it a try :). Anyway, Shuttertock has been the only site ever having problem with my releases so it's probably the best option to try
