Here you go...

Just whip one of those bad boys up and you could be making $12K a month!

I love just looking at all of these, I think I could use them all!

I`ve been trying to submit footage to Videohive for a while now.
And my submissions keep getting rejected because there is a problem with my preview file, and yet I`m sure I am doing everything correctly and the file formats are correct, rendering preview clips in Adobe Media Encoder.

Is there anywhere I can check for reference to use for the setting in Media Encoder or After Effects for exporting a preview file?
I`ve looked on the Videohive submissions guidelines but haven`t found anything there.

Also not sure how to submit an HD and 4K file at the same time?

I`m at a loss as to what to do and I`m sure SpaceStockFootage you are the one to ask!?

Just needs to be 960x540, render using the H.264 option in the format dropdown so you get a .MP4 file, and make sure you've added the VideoHive watermark. However, if it's footage rather than motion graphics, you should be able to use the new uploader... no need for preview images, previews and thumbnails, it does it all for you.

Does anyone know of any producer making $12K per month or more?   8)
Would anyone consider that an attainable goal for someone working part time on stock video?

Well the first video in that link is making the author $12K a month, so that's what I was referring to. And as that's just one of the 28 items he sells on VideoHive, yes, I do know somebody that is making more than $12K a month on VideoHive!

Thank you, I will look at using these settings.
Forgive my ignorance but how do you upload footage using the new uploader?
When I go to upload footage, everything looks exactly the same, I cannot see anywhere where it might be simplified?
I hope I can use it, it certainly looks a more complicated process than others.

That`s amazing, just goes to show how big the market is.

I wonder how many hours it took to create all that, not only the template creation, but also the video tutorials, time spent on customer support, updates and preview video. Although I'm sure his hourly rate is still high if he's making $12K a month!

I think the new uploader might still be in beta, but there's a form you can fill in to give you access. I'll try and find it. From one of the most difficult uploading processes, it's now pretty good. Upload multiple files simultaneously, auto generation of all your previews, upload directly from Dropbox etc. The first two are pretty standard, the Dropbox option is a nice addition.

That`s great!
Thank you.
Fingers crossed.
Will let you know how I get on.
I certainly think this will be more straight forward.
Enough to think about as it is making my first initial submissions, and used to different layouts, but it was making things even more frustrating as my submissions were being rejected because of the preview file and I had no idea what the problem was!

Wow, every one of those is cool to look at.  I know nothing about after affects.  I need to find some tutorials, because it looks like fun.  Not that I need another Adobe subscription.

Or, if you use a Mac, take a look at Motion 5. Buy it at the app store for about 40 (was when I got it anyway). Saves on a monthly sub. It's a standalone app but integrates well with FCP X and is very powerful for motion graphics and text. If you use Premier, just import the video files into Motion 5 and add additional layers there. If you're on a PC.... well, Adobe's got ya then :-)

I know of at least 2 video suppliers making over $1million a year, however they spend alot on models, locations and retouching etc.
If you want to do well shoot lifestyle and supply at least 5 agencies.
