Started in November of 2004 with DT. I started before that on SXC, but free doesn't count, does it! I found out about microstock from SXC forum. My oldest photo for sale is below with a whopping 1 download to date!

I started in Feb.'06 with Shutterstock and Istock on the same day. Made a good start, but I said to myself : 2 is enough. Now I'm with 8 agencies. Now I say to myself : 8 is enough. Grin

I started in late 2006 with zero photography experience. I just uploaded some nature shots I had taken with my first DSLR and was surprised a few got accepted. I thought if I could get some shots accepted maybe I could make a little $ on the side and things kind of went from there.

I started uploading in January 2008. It would have been December 2007, but that 30-day thing with SS kept me focused in image quality.

The fifth file I ever submitted to iStock has been my best seller with 285 downloads on IS alone.

March of '05 at iStock.
