We had BME, but the time spent on stock sites is still too short to make any judgements (mostly videos).

On DT, for some reason, I had the best month in 5 years, on SS I had the worst month in 4 years and on IS I had the worst month ever. FT was OK.

It was the best month of the year (worst too). It was just slightly worse than the average for last year.
On the plus side for the future I started uploading again in the last 3rd of the month so we shall see if that makes a difference or at least slows the slide.

January was about the same as the couple months before it. October was still my BME. Shutterstock didn't do amazing in January but Pond5, Fotolia, And Videoblocks made up for it.

Would you mind reporting if uploading makes a difference? It had stopped having a measurable impact for me, so I quit.
For me, Adobe/FT and DT both performed very well. SS still outsold them, but keeps going down so not sure how much longer they'll be my #1.

Well, maybe the impact is that sales aren't going down MORE?
You can't go up forever, and at some point you need to consistently upload just to stay at the same level.

January was always my worst month of year. This January is my #3 best month ever!
I got BME on 123rf and PIXTA. #2 result on Videoblocks.
I'm working only on videos and uploading almost every day last years.

I made $120 each. Does anyone know what kind of licence it is.
The earnings table shows clip packs, but doesn't that mean that they cost $360 each?

Congratulations! Those were Extended Licence sales for some big project I guess (it's unlikely sensitive use could be applied to editorial). $120 is the top amount per clip on SS as far as I know.

I had a few higher amounts up to 203$ per clip sale but these are very, very rare.

First I thought it was a mistake and the sale will disappear but it was legit.

Generally very very bad. Worst month since 2003…
Exceptionally Dreamstime is my BME, 3 times more sales than usual.

I do video only, been doing it for less than two years.
Until December I had constant increase in sales, almost every month BME, especially strong on SS.
January was my first really bad month, with SS practically frozen. Only FT performing very well.
February seems to have started very well though.
Otherwise I have practically given up on Pond 5: I was doing decently until the membership plan started last May. After that 0 sales and practically zero views with a portfolio 3 times bigger now. The artists participating to the membership have been pushed up in the search and my files have become totally invisible. Also most sales have migrated to the membership area where clips can be had for peanuts

the number of downloads for january was very low compared to other months, but the last week was very good, it completely pushed january to a good month, my RPD was 1.93, about 90% higher than normal,
still worried about the decline of downloads because these freaky good weeks are rare

Bad almost everywhere. SS worst since 2014, some others worst since 2009 or 2010. Overall OK but only because of Canva and Videoblocks - without those two it was the worst since 2009 (and Canva was only about half of what it was a few months ago).

You can't go up forever, and at some point you need to consistently upload just to stay at the same level.
Uploading kept me at the same level for awhile, but eventually I was losing income anyway, so why bother? If resuming uploading would stop or slow the decline I'd do it, but with the big sites doing what they can to take more money away, seems somewhat pointless. That's why I'm curious what the real world result will be for someone who uploads again after a long break.

How can anyone who's on iStock even answer the question? For the first time in 8 years I a week into the new month and have no idea what my total earnings were for last month. :(

I have no problems seeing my monthly statistics on iStock through the user stats/daily statistics link. The partners program I cannot see, but it's been fairly predictable for a while, so a fair estimate is quite possible. Assuming it's still in the picture.

Yes, exactly. Without the partner program you can't tell what you made for the month. When I enter my statistics I don't want to have to guess, I need exact numbers. Something no other site has difficulty providing.
Also, wasn't January the month new pricing plans went into effect?
