Title: Video Joins the Race to the Bottom
Post by: Uncle Pete on May 14, 2018, 20:22
Not just stock video which has become saturated and overstocked, but drones and air shots also.

Down 90%? Looks like all markets will have fast entry and then go flat. Drones are the latest.

As usual, it's because of technology advancements.

Almost anyone can afford a drone capable of commercial quality today. 5-10 years ago you had to build your own quadcopter for $10k and send your DSLR up in the air. Bulky, clumsy, harder to fly, easier to crash, and expensive.

Times change.

I'm surprised things lasted as long as they did. At least the race to the bottom lasted many years right? Enough time to react...
