Purely for video, I was wondering if anyone knows which is the best earner between istock and videoblocks as I am currently a long term non-exclusive video contributor at istock and my earnings aren't actually that bad but if I could equal what I earn there at videoblocks I would gladly terminate my account at istock.

Thanks.

VideoBlocks for me. There's not been a month since I've been on both, where I've made more money on iStock than I have on Videoblocks. It's not guaranteed you'll do the same though... but as you're non-exclusive, why not try both to start with; see how you get one?

Istock is dangerous.
You are going to be paid so little like 1 or 2 $ for the same clips that you could sell for 20 or 40 dollars.
I feel like it doesn't pay to put your work in competition with yourself and be paid nothing.
I took all my clips down from istock

Forget about istock for video, just a waste of time

I know everyone has beef with istock and I do too and for good reason however I'll be honest and say that it's actually a bit difficult, terminating my account there feels like breaking up with a girlfriend in a long term relationship that's been going sour for quite some time, you know you should break it off but you have so much history together something is stopping you from doing it when you should have left a long time ago.

In terms of pure earnings videoblocks can at least match istock? are the sales constant or do they vary month on month? I ask this again as I was reading an old thread here about videoblocks and there were quite a few mixed opinions.

If in the future things were to improve over at istock can you reapply after previously terminating an account? if so how long is the cool off period?

Thanks

Don't think about breaking up, just do it.  Then afterwards, you will wonder why you kept that poisonous relationship going so long.  Does anyone realistically think istock can ever improve now?  Getty has ruined it and the hedge fund that owns Getty will just carry on squeezing more money out of contributors.  How is that process going to end?

Previously, I would say Videoblocks by far, but last month iStock earned more for the first time.
