nearly a video was sold at videohive...

look at statement... video sale price: $12

cuts on wages:
buyer fee: $3
author fee: $4.95
US Royalty Withholding Tax: $2.70
total cut: $10.65

It's only $1.35 left over from a $ 12 video sale.

this is not fair, would you tell me, what kind of justice is that we live? I am very sick of these kind of absurd conditions on microstock industry anymore, really, I am tired of seeing this kind of b....ts anymore.

it is your own fault even uploading clips there.

why do you cost me the problem right now? Do not be so hasty in answering, you have to think about the subject first. do you think the whole problem is on me? Do you explain this with more detail? if there is a place where higher commission and more sales can be made that am I not informed, I would like to find out.

it is the same as applying for a crapy paid job and then whine to everyone around you about bad payment. you knew you applied, deal with it. Or delete clips and stick to agencies that don't dump prices.

Yeah, I usually figure out how much I'm going to get paid per sale before I start uploading clips... not after I've uploaded clips and made a sale.

But still... what country are you from?

Might reduce your withholding tax. Have you already filled in your W8 in the tax settings?

yes, I already submitted and approved tax form, I wonder, what is your current tax witholding fee? is mine so much?

it says on help page that
"Accordingly, if you are a non-U.S. person, your sales to US buyers may be subject to royalty withholding tax of up to 30%."

30% tax is so much fee, isnt it?

this is very nice point, according to the list on the link you give, I have to pay 10% tax. why does videohive cut taxes by 30%?

Did you fill in your foreign tax ID number? If you don't then they accept you're from the country you say you are... but still charge you 30% on US sales, but if you do, then they apply the reduced rate to US sales as well.

Set your own prices, royalties up to around 70%, they've paid out as much royalties as Shutterstock... what's bogus about them?
