Did anyone else notice that they have 3 credit files at VectorStock? I logged in today and noticed I had a 3 credit sales. Did this just happen?

I was just checking out VectorStock as a possible outlet for my vectors now that I've dropped exculsivity at iStock.  VectorStock FAQs says that they have 1, 3, 5 and 10 credit files but all I can find are 1 and a few 3 credit files.

did they used to be just 1 credit only and now are adding more or do they price almost everything at just 1 credit?  there are some really nice detailed vectors there going for just 1 credit!

from the Artist FAQ "How is it priced?"

Quote
How is a vector priced?

Vectors are priced in 4 price brackets. Trace, path quality and subject matter may also affect the pricing of your work.

1 CREDIT vectors (25 credits under Extended License)

Simple Icon sets, ornaments and graphics, traced images or silhouettes/shapes, simple backgrounds or graphic design elements, highly common or similar subject material. Single or groups of silhouettes and objects.

3 CREDIT vectors (50 credits under Extended License)

Multiple color Icon sets, ornaments and graphic sets, cartoons, complex silhouette groups, backgrounds or detailed design element sets or renders. Large groups of objects.

5 CREDIT vectors (75 credits under Extended License)

Multiple detailed Icon sets, ornaments and complex graphic sets. Highly detailed cartoons, illustrations, silhouettes, backgrounds or complex design element sets. Unique and creative compositions and subjects.

10 CREDIT vectors (100 credits under Extended License)

Original highly skilled and detailed illustrations, cartoons and graphics. Professional top quality illustrations and graphics.

They say they price them depending on the quality. They don't. 99% of the graphics have the $1 price tag.
This topic and your astonishment to see a $3 sale says it all.

that was what I thought.  Doesn't seem to worth it to send them high quality/detailed vector work if it's more than likely going to be just a $1 unless, I suppose, there are super high volumes of sales to offset the low price.

All it took was a year for someone to reply to my thread.  Grin Yeah, the prices are pretty low there, and most things get priced at a buck. It definitely makes it hard to actually want to send them files. I keep hoping they'll change the pricing schemes, but I don't think it is going to happen.

has anyone ever seen a 5 or 10 credit file?  I was wondering what those look like for comparison?  I did some random looking and searching, but once my A.D.D. kicked in I went on to something else and never did find any files at those levels.

Here's the only one of mine that is a $3 vector. I don't get why though.
The first time it was uploaded it went for $5 actually, but I consider that to be a mistake since $5 vectors at VS are unheard of.

What serious agency would put stuff like this for sale (these are actual company logos)

And there are plenty of those, just search for "facebook", "flickr" or "stumbleupon"

I couldn't tell you but I had 3 sales in March last year on the same day that totaled $6.75 and to this day still can't figure out how that works out to be that amount.  I don't send them anything but eps8 files and even then I can't get to 100 images in my port on there as the rejections are extremely high for me.
