Is there anyone here who sells at Vectorstock? I just want to know if sales are ok or if it is worth uploading to? The payout is $100 and at $0.25 per download (usually 1 credit files).. that kind of takes a long time unless the volume is as much as SS... any thoughts?

How big is your portfolio and what is your average sales per day?

Here's an existing thread:
http://www.microstockgroup.com/index.php/topic,2025.0.html

When I posted to that thread back in April, the "most downloaded file" had 85 downloads. Now, more than 3 months later, it has a whopping 112.

I seriously can't see someone wasting their time, but I guess if you have a lot of time to waste, there are worst things you could do.  Undecided

I would be very circumspect about uploading to sites without a proven track record for sales. Even if they have no time commitments, they make out like bandits if they sell content on which they never have to pay you because you don't reach the minimum payout. Even today, BigStock has a $30 payout and newer low-sales sites set a $50 threshhold. Given your time to upload the files, I expect you'd only do that if you anticipated getting a payout.

I don't sell at Vectorstock though, so I have nothing specific to tell you about them.

I would have uploaded files if they have a lower minimum payout.. Their credit system is also low and most of the images which would generally be a 10 credit in IS is only 1 credit in Vectorstock.. so hmm.. guess not worth it right now. Thanks!

Skip it. No sales, and they don't seem to be interested in doing anything to change the situation. There was talk of marketing efforts and advertising, but I never saw anything. And I read most of the big design mags out there, so if an ad ran, I probably would have seen it.

Their ridiculous payout tiers are an indication that they never intend to pay at a decent rate.
Compare this, for example to Fotolia, where you need 1000 dls to reach silver
(I am not endorsing Fotolia, just pointing out they are more reasonable in this respect)
